Gijang Korean restaurant, dried corvina set for 4 with kids' rice
In short
Kkomak Hansang Gijang Main Branch is a Korean restaurant on the Oshiria line in Gijang, Busan, serving cockle and dried corvina spreads as full table settings. Ordering just one dried corvina set for two and adding extra rice bowls was enough to feed a family of four, with side dishes like lotus root pickles, braised quail eggs, and stir-fried seaweed stems filling the table. It's a solid stop for a family meal after a day out in Oshiria.

Today I've got a story about a filling meal after a day out in Oshiria! I found this place while looking for a Korean restaurant near Oshiria — Kkomak Hansang Gijang Main Branch. True to its name, it's famous for cockles, but we actually went with the dried corvina (boribulgobi) set. Perfect for a hearty family spread haha.

It's on the Gijang Oshiria line, so it was easy to stop by on the way from Lotte Outlet or Haedong Yonggungsa Temple. Recommended too if you're looking for a restaurant near Lotte Outlet Dongbusan.
Exterior and interior atmosphere

It's right across from Lotte Outlet, and the sign says "Kkomak Hansang" in big letters, so it was easy to spot.

Right when you walk in, there's a big photo of the table spread on the wall, and just looking at it got me excited since there were so many side dishes. Weekends get busy with waits, but haha you can register for the waitlist through CatchTable. We got there early and luckily got seated right away.

What the dried corvina set for two looked like

We ordered the dried corvina set for two. Turns out there's a rule here that even kids under 10 have to order one main dish.

But with just the two-person set plus extra bowls of rice, it was more than enough for the whole family to eat until we were full! There were so many side dishes that the table was completely covered — from lotus root pickles to braised quail eggs, stir-fried seaweed stems, and vinegar salad, everything was good.
The dried corvina was salty with a big savory kick, so it kept pulling my hand back for more with rice.
How did the kids react?
My younger one picked the fish clean down to the bone again today — this is the kid whose hands get busy whenever we come here haha. My older one, as always, mixed rice into the seaweed soup and finished it in no time. The broth was mild and savory, so it went down easily.
This place would be great for a meal with parents in Gijang, or just a regular family dinner.
If you're looking for a Korean restaurant near Oshiria, I highly recommend Kkomak Hansang Gijang Main Branch! One dried corvina set fed the whole family until we were full.
