While traveling around Jeju, my other half complained that her hair was frizzy and heavy, so we went looking for one of the best hair salons near Jeju City Hall — Boreum Hair Jeju Inje, known for its skill. The building itself already looked sleek and clean from the outside.
Inside Boreum Hair: a spacious white-and-gray salon
The inside of Boreum Hair Jeju Inje is decorated in white and gray tones, a wide and pleasant space. Walking in, the atmosphere immediately put us at ease.
The mirrors and chairs were spaced out generously, so there was no cramped or cluttered feeling, which meant it should be a comfortable place to sit through a whole treatment. My other half tends to come home completely drained and needs half a day to recover after visiting crowded, noisy salons, so we chose this one more carefully than usual.
What stylist Daye's personal consultation decided
We had booked ahead, and stylist Daye, with over 10 years of experience, kindly ran through a thorough personal consultation. She asked in detail about the styles my other half usually wears and the look she wanted, then recommended a design suited to her face shape — it was immediately reassuring.
Before starting the actual treatment, she carefully checked the condition of the hair, and together they settled on a direction that would keep things calm yet light. Her attentiveness in finding a design that suited the face shape and was easy to manage really built trust.
My other half's concerns and usual styling habits were:

- Usually ties or pins up her hair
- Should she cut it into a short bob above the shoulders and perm it?

After talking it through with Daye, we decided to keep the bangs and side pieces falling naturally, keep the length as is, lighten the overall weight, and go with a style she could maintain the way she normally does.
How the magic slick cut is done, step by step
After the solution was applied carefully, she went through heat-treatment machine care to really bring out that trendy slick finish.
So it wouldn't feel tedious to sit through the process, they brought out a tray with a cool iced Americano and a sweet snack — even that small gesture showed real warmth toward the customer, which made the whole thing more enjoyable. Haha, while the heat machine was busy working on her hair, the cold coffee seemed to melt away the tension and even brighten her mood, because she just sat there so calmly.
Moving to the next step, she carefully worked through the whole head with a delicate touch, continuing the care. Watching Daye's expert hands smooth over strand after strand was reassuring, and it made us curious how it would all turn out. Every glance in the mirror built up more anticipation — it was a genuinely nice moment.
You could see the once-messy, frizzy ends becoming noticeably neater. After shampooing, she dried the hair thoroughly and smoothed the overall texture, and you could really feel the veteran skill in her touch 👍
Next, she cleanly sectioned the hair with blue clips and fixed them in place before moving into the actual magic press work. Thanks to her careful strand-by-strand pressing, the hair was transforming into a silky, smooth, glossy texture.
The finished slick cut: no frizz, easy daily styling
When everything was finally done and she looked in the mirror, the frizz had completely vanished, replaced by a calm, light slick-cut silhouette. Among the many hair salons near Jeju City Hall, we found exactly why Boreum Hair Jeju Inje and stylist Daye stand out!!
