The day after a night in Haeundae: a hangover lunch at Songjeong Dol Jjamppong
This is a hangover lunch review from a Haeundae date-trip built around stone-plate jjamppong (spicy seafood noodle soup). Today I'm sharing my visit to Songjeong Dol Jjamppong, which came all the way from Palgongsan and makes a great lunch stop on a Haeundae date course, along with all the menu and price info. Haeundae has so many great hotels, doesn't it?? I stayed at the Hyatt Haeundae on this trip, but I'd had a bit too much to drink the night before, so I skipped breakfast and figured I really needed to cure my hangover at lunch. So I searched hard on Naver. I personally love jjamppong as a hangover cure, and when I looked up jjamppong in Haeundae, I found a place specializing in something special — stone-plate jjamppong! — so I went and checked it out myself. It's clearly known as a spot that does jjamppong really well, because there was a wait, but the jjamppong was so good I left a very satisfied, properly cured lunch behind me! Now let's get into the honest review!!

Songjeong Dol Jjamppong hours, parking and how to get there

For a hangover-curing lunch on a Haeundae date, this stone-plate jjamppong specialist, Songjeong Dol Jjamppong, is exactly the spot!! It's located near Songjeong Beach. If you're taking public transit, hop on bus 185 and get off at Gwangeogol stop, and you'll find it right away.
If you're driving! You can park for free in the lot right in front of the restaurant, and parking on the road in front of the building is also free. I parked comfortably in the lot out front and headed in for some jjamppong!!
What kind of restaurant is Songjeong Dol Jjamppong?
Well known near Songjeong Beach for its delicious stone-plate jjamppong, this restaurant serves a smoky, fire-flavored broth loaded with fresh seafood, and it's been steadily loved by people looking for the best jjamppong in Songjeong. It's a Songjeong Beach favorite with tons of repeat visits from both tourists and locals!! It's run under a direct-management system found in only three locations nationwide — Ulsan Daewangam Dol Jjamppong, Busan Songjeong Dol Jjamppong, and Miryang Dol Jjamppong — all maintaining the same quality.

How long is the wait at 1pm, and what is the dining room like?
I arrived around 1pm and there was already a wait underway — this place has even been featured on an MBC broadcast as a jjamppong specialist. Since it's within walking distance of Songjeong Beach, it's an easy stop whether you're traveling or on a date.
I liked that there was a dedicated waiting area, and overall the atmosphere was clean and comfortable, which was satisfying.

Self-serve pickled radish corner
There's also a self-serve corner. I eat a lot of pickled radish with jjamppong and jajangmyeon, and it always felt a bit awkward asking staff to keep bringing more, so I loved that there was a self-serve corner where I could grab it myself!!

Crunchy tangsuyuk, 22,000 won
I also ordered the crunchy tangsuyuk (sweet and sour pork) as a side. There's a mini size too, but I just went with the regular!! They said it's made with 100% domestic pork loin aged for 24 hours! It was crispy like pork cutlet and packed with meat, which I loved!
I also captured the whole meal on video.

Scorched-rice stone-plate jjamppong for two: the hangover really was cured
The signature dish of Haeundae date-course favorite Songjeong Dol Jjamppong! The scorched-rice stone-plate jjamppong for two arrived!! Bubbling away on a hot stone plate, finished with scorched rice for extra nuttiness, this is their spicy signature stone-plate jjamppong. Spicy and delicious — exactly what you want for a hangover!! Between the tangsuyuk and the stone-plate jjamppong, I cured my hangover properly!
That wraps up my honest review of a hangover-curing Haeundae date lunch at Songjeong Dol Jjamppong. If you're in Busan and drinking (which, let's be honest, you will be), and you're looking for a real hangover cure, come check this place out!! The jjamppong here is REALLY good!!
