A large café near Gangnam Station with parking
I went to the Gangnam Station café <Selected Nicks (셀렉티드닉스)>. I’d wanted to come here for a while, and I finally made it...! I happened to have loads of time before an appointment in Gangnam, so I came straight to the café.
By the way, parking is available here too. If you’re driving, search for “Gangnam-gu, Yeoksam-dong 827-83.” Once you arrive, let a first-floor staff member know at the barrier gate and they’ll guide you!
The on-site lot can only accommodate sedans up to a Genesis G80. SUVs, large sedans, and vehicles with high bodies may have trouble parking. It’s free for café visitors, so keep that in mind if you’re bringing a car~

It’s a seriously, seriously huge café, running from B1 all the way up to the rooftop! Around Gangnam Station, it can be so hard to find a seat at busy times no matter where you go, but Selected Nicks is so spacious that you’ll probably worry less about that.

Ordering tiramisu and baked treats
You order on the first floor. As you can tell from the display models here, Selected Nicks is known for tiramisu~ From classic tiramisu to banana pistachio, plus Dubai chocolate tiramisu too—it really is a tiramisu-specialty café...
Of course, that doesn’t mean it only has tiramisu, nope nope. There are other baked treats like these too!

Check out the menu, then order at the kiosk! I had dinner plans an hour later, but it would’ve been way too sad not to try the tiramisu, so I ordered a pistachio tiramisu and a cold brew.

A gallery-like second-floor space
I picked up my order downstairs and went straight up to the second floor. There were quite a few customers, so I couldn’t take many photos, but works were displayed around the floor like a gallery café, and the clean white interior felt so sleek!

How was the pistachio tiramisu?
My pistachio tiramisu! And honestly, I’ve never had a cake with this much pistachio sprinkled over it... It was a nutty tiramisu with a really rich, true pistachio flavor, just like you’d expect from that generous topping!!! The pistachios on top weren’t just decoration—the nutty taste really came through in every bite, which I loved.
Anyone who loves pistachios would go wild for this, haha. There’s chocolate on top too, and eating it with the pistachio makes it about 400 million times better.

It really is a tiramisu specialist, so even the base cream wasn’t heavy, and the sponge was moist~ The tiramisu itself wasn’t overly rich or just sweet, so it was perfect with coffee. If you’re a dessert-loving bestie, you have to try it.

The tiramisu and cold brew pairing
And the cold brew Americano was insanely delicious...! It wasn’t bitter, with a lightly nutty and clean taste, so it paired so well with the tiramisu. When coffee is too bitter with dessert, it overwhelms all the flavor, but this one supported it perfectly and cleanly!

Gangnam views from the rooftop
The weather was cold, so I only went up to the rooftop briefly! I hadn’t planned to stay long because of the cold, but once I got up there, the view was so much better than I expected that I stood looking around for quite a while. I genuinely wondered whether there was another place in Gangnam with a view like this.
The area around Gangnam Station is packed with tall buildings, so it’s not really my favorite neighborhood, haha. But up on this rooftop, the sky and buildings came together to make such a cool view. It kind of felt like New York. Of course, I’ve never been to New York.
On a pleasantly cool spring or fall day, I’d honestly want to claim a rooftop seat over an indoor one! After having delicious dessert and coffee, then taking in the Gangnam scenery from the rooftop, it felt like a tiny getaway from everyday life~?

Eighth-floor hours and space rental
This is the eighth floor. It feels a bit more like a meeting room? The eighth floor is open from 17:00 to 24:00 on weekdays and from 11:00 to 23:30 on weekends. Its hours are a little different, so take note.
Because the space is so large and varied, you can also rent spaces through Naver Reservation. Please check the link above for that!
It had the scale, the atmosphere, and delicious desserts and coffee—there really wasn’t a single thing missing. It’s also so close to Gangnam Station, so accessibility is top-notch! If you’re looking for a spacious Gangnam café with great desserts, I recommend Selected Nicks near Gangnam Station!
