Household goods store in Seohae, Incheon with 500-won price tags: On

I stopped by 'On Saenghwal' in Seohae, Incheon. Apparently they sell at bulk-buy, wholesale-level prices, and a lot of stuff is cheaper than Daiso? (Daiso is already 1,000 won, so if this is cheaper than that... come on haha)

Ahem..! I was just wandering around bored, doing a bit of window shopping to help digest lunch. 🛍️ From stationery and toys, slime and squishies, to kitchen and bathroom items, ornamental fish, pet supplies, sanitary pads, diapers, tools, supplements and more — let's take a look!

Where is On Saenghwal, and what are the hours and parking?

It's in a big blue building with an Olive Young on the first floor. The store itself runs across the 1st and 2nd floors.

The frozen reservation corner by the entrance — why the older shoppers line up for it

Even before I got inside, big fridges greeted me, and I could hear older shoppers asking, 'Is my reserved LA galbi here?' or 'Did my reserved ganjang gejang come in?' A household goods store where people reserve meat and food...? Looking closer, it really was cheap. If people are reserving ahead and waiting, the price and quality must be good.

The cosmetics and nail supplies corner

Walk into the first-floor store and cosmetics are lined up neatly. Nail polish, acetone, nail stickers, nail hardener, men's cologne, men's all-in-one lotion, eyeshadow, lipstick, basic skin toner, lotion, essence, ampoules, cream. So much stuff..!

There's a corner for knitting supplies too.

They even sell cosmetics with gold flecks in them. But they're only in the 10,000–20,000 won range, which is really cheap.

Cute pouches, bags, and market totes too.

500-won paper cups, 450-won laundry nets? A price comparison

A pack of paper cups for 500 won? Hahaha, Daiso charges over 1,000 won for the same thing.

Mini handheld fans ranged from 4,000 won all the way up to the tens of thousands.

The slime and squishy toys corner

They also carry the kind of toys that make students go crazy — slime, squishies, crunchy squishies, even waffle balls.

Meanwhile my boyfriend was next to me, poking and squeezing a monkey toy...

Really thick, substantial wet wipes, 80 sheets for 1,000 won! Into the basket it went~ (they really were thick)

Bathroom cleaning Yuhan Clorox 900ml, two for 8,900 won — always good to have on hand. (I checked Coupang, and this is 1,000 won cheaper here!)

Glass and mirror cleaning wipes would be nice to have too, though honestly I probably wouldn't use them.

A laundry net for 450 won...? That's not even 500 won. Total defeat for Daiso.. T_T

Kitchenware and the group-buy corner

Wow, there's so much. Frying pans everywhere.

Silicone lids are handy for everything, but silicone stuff usually runs a bit pricey, so I'll think about it!

They also had the egg steamer and multi-cooker I bought recently. And then there was the most popular section — the group-buy corner. This is where they buy in bulk and sell at close to wholesale prices with minimal margin. (It seemed really popular with homemakers and older shoppers.)

I've heard people in the know swear by this section!

Supplements and gift sets too

They even had Dongkook Pharmaceutical's Madeca Cream.

A fermented red ginseng stick gift set, great for gifting.

I was torn between lemon juice, cold-pressed vegetable juice, and pumpkin juice. In the end I went with the vegetable juice haha, since I haven't been eating enough vegetables lately.

They even have protein! And you can sample it too. The owner has serious taste.

The stationery and toy corner, plus Crocs charms

Head back down to the first floor and there's a stationery and toy corner. Everything was so neatly organized that I enjoyed testing out pens and browsing around.

Jibbitz? Can't resist! You know how much I wear my Crocs!!

Notebooks, pens, and all kinds of school supplies too.

What we ended up buying, and the final verdict

After a good look around, we ended up buying hand warmers, wet wipes, cold-pressed vegetable juice, bathroom cleaning Clorox, a plunger, and more.

Next time we go, we're going to look more closely at the frozen reservation corner and actually order something! And we're going to dig deeper into the group-buy section too haha.

Final verdict: this was a household goods store that truly has everything, competing to be the cheapest in the country. It was surprising how many items were cheaper than the big corporations, Coupang and Daiso...!!
