Chicken fajita platter shared with mom in Cheongna, Incheon: Taco Dot

In short

Taco Dot Cheongna Branch is a Mexican restaurant near Cheongna International City Station in Seohae, Incheon, serving tacos, fajitas, pasta, and buffalo wings. A mother-daughter visit centered on one chicken fajita platter, with carnitas, chicken, shrimp, sautéed vegetables, and fried rice wrapped in tortillas at the table. With parking for four cars out front, the platter was filling enough for two to share and still feel stuffed.

I'd been craving tacos for a while and went looking for a good spot in Cheongna, which led me to Taco Dot Cheongna Branch. Let me walk you through the parking, the vibe inside, the menu and prices, and the fajita I actually ordered.

Parking for 4 cars out front

Taco Dot Cheongna Branch has space for about four cars to park right in front of the restaurant. We happened to visit when one spot was open, so we could park right away. If you're planning a date or family meal in Cheongna and driving there, it's worth checking this ahead of time.

High ceilings and separated seating

Stepping inside, the high ceilings and open floor plan made the whole place feel cool and spacious. Seating ranged from sofa seats to tables that fit several people comfortably. Each table had its own separated space, so you don't need to worry much about the next table over. Overall it felt like a good spot for a date, or for a group of family or friends to eat without feeling cramped.

Menu lineup and what we ordered

The menu isn't just tacos — there's fajitas, pasta, buffalo wings, and more. With set menus and several kinds of tacos available, there's plenty to choose from depending on your mood. Rather than order several separate dishes, we went with the chicken fajita platter so we could try a variety of ingredients together.

What's in the chicken fajita platter

After a short wait, the fajita platter arrived, and with so many ingredients laid out at once, it looked seriously generous. Carnitas, chicken, shrimp, sautéed vegetables, and fried rice were all included, so there was plenty to pick and choose from. The carnitas and chicken were soft and mild, and they tasted even better wrapped in a tortilla with vegetables and sauce. The shrimp especially stood out — plump and meaty — and with the fried rice on the side, the whole thing was more filling than expected.

Tortilla refills and portion for two

Tortillas and other side items can be refilled, so if you run low, you can just ask for more — a nice touch. At first we worried one platter might not be enough for two people, but once we started piling ingredients into the tortillas, we ended up completely full.

The best combination we tried

Half the fun of a fajita platter is wrapping your own tortilla with whatever ingredients you like. Chicken, shrimp, and sautéed vegetables with tomato sauce and sour cream made a soft, rich combination, and adding the cabbage salad on top brought a crunchy texture that kept things light instead of heavy. Personally, my favorite combination was chicken, shrimp, and sautéed vegetables together with cabbage salad and sour cream.

Our overall verdict, mother and daughter

We visited as mother and daughter and ordered just one fajita platter, and between the variety of ingredients and the fried rice, the portion turned out just right and satisfying. Since you can each pick your own ingredients to wrap in a tortilla, it's a different kind of fun compared to a regular meal. It's a good dish to share as two people, whether you're visiting as a couple or with family.

Maybe because it had been a while since I'd had tacos, everything tasted even better than expected, and it was a relaxed, satisfying time spent with my mom. If you're craving tacos in Cheongna or want to try something different for a meal out, this is a place worth visiting at least once.
