One minute from Seohae District Office Station — what is On Saenghwal?

You know Incheon's Seo-gu district got renamed Seohae-gu, right? Near the old Seogu District Office Station — now Seohae District Office Station — there's a household goods store I genuinely go to all the time, haha! It's called On Saenghwal, and it's just a minute's walk from the station. They carry practically everything, in so many varieties, and the prices somehow feel cheaper than online, so I end up buying most of my household stuff, office supplies and fancy stationery here! It's a big discount store spread across the 1st and 2nd floors of the building, and I lost track of time browsing — let me introduce On Saenghwal.

A tray of jumbo eggs for ₩9,300 through group-buy

They also run group-buys here, selling food at really low prices, so I always jump into the group-buy chat room to grab things cheap. These days egg prices are basically ₩10,000+ as a baseline, but they were selling a tray of jumbo eggs for ₩9,300, along with plenty of other groceries — worth keeping in mind!

In the fridge, some food you can just grab and buy right away, while items marked "reserved" are only for people who reserved them in the group-buy chat. The food here is genuinely cheap too, so I come often — this time I picked up some really cheap dumplings! Don't assume it's just household goods here — make sure to check out this food section too.

Floor 1 — fashion and character stationery

First, here's the first floor — mostly fashion items and character stationery. All the household goods are on the huge second floor, so take your time and browse the first floor at leisure.

Hairpins, hats, bags, pouches — personally, I find this place has more unusual items and cheaper prices than chain household goods stores, so I do most of my shopping here. I've also got a trip to Southeast Asia coming up, and they had so many travel items that were great to pick up. A lot of things were cheaper than buying online, so after comparing prices I just ended up buying everything at On Saenghwal.

From shampoo to makeup — the cosmetics corner

I mentioned the first floor is heavy on beauty items, right? There's shampoo, rinse and other bathroom items, plus basics like skin and lotion, all the way to makeup — so much cosmetics here! And it's all sold at discount prices, so the value is really good and I always end up browsing longer than planned. Oh, and my parents buy their hair dye here too!

Character stationery and dolls — almost nothing over ₩5,000

Head further into the first floor and you'll find stationery — tons of character stationery here too, so it's fun to browse. I remember once seeing something I'd wanted from a claw machine, and I was shocked it was sold here for so much cheaper..!

I've been seeing this Chiikawa?? character everywhere lately, and they have so much character merchandise it made my head spin!! But almost nothing here is over ₩5,000, the prices are really that low, so definitely check it out at least once~ Last May, I bought Children's Day gifts for my niece and nephew here cheap too!

Floor 2 — group-buy products and household goods

Go up to this floor and the variety gets even bigger — as soon as you climb the stairs, the group-buy products are right there. Since it's a group-buy, it felt even cheaper than usual, and beyond food you can also get kitchenware at group-buy prices.

They're always running group-buys for things I've wanted to buy, so this is the place that comes to mind whenever I want to buy something cheap. There's so much stock, everything's organized well, and since it's a discount store, the discounts are so generous it never feels like a splurge!!

Go further into the second floor and there's even more variety — car supplies, pet supplies, kitchenware, electronics and more. If you're looking for a discount household goods store in Incheon, I definitely recommend visiting On Saenghwal!
