Hi everyone ˙ᵕ˙ this is Jinsim's sister.

Off to Cheomdan favorite Jinsim Wang Donkkaseu for pork cutlet. It's always packed with flavor, never a letdown haha. Personally I like mine loaded with sweet potato and cheese, so I usually get the sweet potato cheese cutlet!

But today, for some reason, I was craving spicy anchovy kalguksu (knife-cut noodle soup)? My husband was like, what's with ordering noodles at a cutlet place haha — but guess what? He finished every last drop of the broth. So here's a review, freshly simmered, all thanks to the spicy anchovy kalguksu I tried today.

Menu and set combos at Jinsim Wang Donkkaseu

There are set menus when you visit, you know?? I ordered the Jinsim Wang Donkkaseu + spicy anchovy kalguksu combo. Oh, and personally I also love the Jinsim spicy giant pork cutlet! Highly recommended if you can handle spice. You can also add the sauce separately :) I've been curious about the kimchi nabe every time I come but ㅠㅠㅠ still haven't tried it. No wait, and a relaxed atmosphere inside

The building for Cheomdan favorite Jinsim Wang Donkkaseu is pretty big! So you can walk straight in with no wait :) Waiting is tough with a baby ㅠ It's a must-go-straight-in kind of place.

I heard they added a new fish cutlet menu, gotta try that next time.

We rushed over right after break time ended, starving haha. That meant we got to eat in a nice, uncrowded space! Plenty of tables too, so it's great for dining out with kids.

Plenty of high chairs were available too, so our baby played quietly while mom ate. If you're heading to eat with a baby in Cheomdan, this is the spot!

Self-serve bar and wrap-style cutlet

This is the self-serve bar at Cheomdan favorite Jinsim Wang Donkkaseu. You scoop your own broth and soup to go with the cutlet.

Jinsim Wang Donkkaseu is also famous for its wrap-style cutlet, you know. Older folks sometimes say cutlet feels too greasy, but here you can wrap it in lettuce, so you can enjoy it deliciously all the way through!

They also have bibs and kids' tableware ready. A great restaurant recommendation for going out with a baby.

The day nothing was left, thanks to the spicy anchovy kalguksu

Personally, there's always a little bit of Jinsim Wang Donkkaseu left over haha, so we always end up packing it to go — but guess what haha, today nothing was left! We polished it off, it was that good! The reason is the spicy anchovy kalguksu.

If you've been to Jinsim Wang Donkkaseu and never tried the spicy anchovy kalguksu ㅠㅠㅠ you really need to try it at least once!!!

The combo with the cutlet is no joke. It's genuinely spicy-hot, but addictive, so you keep reaching for more.

The same guy who teased me for ordering kalguksu at a cutlet place haha went all in on the noodles haha.

How was the western-style giant pork cutlet?

Do I even need to say it about Jinsim Wang Donkkaseu. Always delicious, I'm tired of repeating myself. It comes with cucumber peppers, cabbage salad, corn, and rice.

Thin batter with meat packed all the way through — a classic western-style pork cutlet. When I want crispy, thin cutlet, Jinsim Wang Donkkaseu is always my go-to.

Wrapped it neatly in lettuce too :) As evening came, everyone around us was arriving with family, kids in tow!!!

Hahaha we ate so neatly and thoroughly. We said we'd pack up the leftover Jinsim Wang Donkkaseu, but it was extra delicious today somehow, and there was nothing left to pack.
