Double cheeseburger and onion rings with sister: Daily Fix, Gwanak

There are days like this...! Days when you crave a seriously meaty handmade burger!!

I guess I was pretty stressed out this day, because I was ready to chow down heavy! Couldn't resist the craving, so I called up my sister — her office is nearby — for a spontaneous meetup to go get burgers!! >.< After thinking about where to go, I decided to visit this place, famous as a handmade burger chain!

Bottom line,

• Overwhelmed by the patty juices and sauce flavor
• The mouthful satisfaction was on another level!

It's located near Sharosu-gil, within a 5-minute walk of Exit 2 of Seoul National University Entrance Station. ★Pet-friendly ★Free parking available

The bright yellow BURGER sign catches your eye! There it is — Daily Fix!!

There's a bar table outside too! Once it cools down a bit more, it seems like you could eat outside at the bar table for an open-air feel.

Interior seating — solo seats and group tables

Once you walk in, there's a separate ordering and cooking area,

and there are group tables further inside. More couples than I expected were there for a casual date meal~ (there are also separate solo seats by the window)

Kiosk ordering and menu prices

Every table has a kiosk, so ordering is super convenient!

There's a Naver review event going on, so make sure to take part and save some money~

★The kiosk has friendly descriptions for each menu item, and lets you choose options for each burger. You can even add extra ingredients! (I love this kind of thoughtful detail)

• Double cheeseburger x2 (₩15,900 each)

The double cheeseburger — too tall for one bite

Drumroll~!!! It's finally here!! Ugh, the height and size are completely impossible to bite in one go...ㄷㄷ That meaty feeling I wanted — exactly what I got!!

The cheese and patty aroma is going wild, I'm getting dizzy...!!!

First I grabbed the wooden skewer to cut it in half, then pulled the skewer out. It's so tall and huge that even cutting it wasn't easy...ㅋㅋ

Ta-da!!! A juice-filled patty and melting cheese... yes... this is exactly what I wanted today!!

Hmmm, one bite and it just melts away...★ This is truly a great handmade burger spot!! Best burger near Seoul National University Entrance ㅠㅠ Would be great for solo dining or a quick bite too.

Onion rings and dipping sauce

It felt like a waste to eat just the burger, so being diligent, I ordered onion rings too!! Ooh, they look nice and salty!

Dipped in the sauce, they stick to your mouth so well it's almost guilt-inducing how good it is!!

Even this fried side dish I ordered without much thought turned out to be per.fect...!! I left completely stuffed and happy!

A verdict from someone who's eaten a lot of handmade burgers

It's been about 15 years since handmade burgers became a trend, I think — starting with Shake Shack, then Downtowner, Five Guys, and more recently even small chains like Bareburger — I've tried quite a lot, and this place was solid enough to make my top 3! (Of course, there are still so many places I haven't tried, so this is just my personal opinion haha)

If you're a burger lover, I'd recommend this place, 'Daily Fix,' for solo dining, a quick bite, or a date near Seoul National University Entrance — juicy Korean beef patties that are seriously delicious, with a great atmosphere too.
