Hi, this is Mudeung 😊 This time I visited Eco Revy Hair Ewha Branch near Ewha Station, a place where you can check both your scalp and hair condition haha

I usually only care about the hairstyle at the salon, but this time I got to see my scalp magnified up close, which was a pretty different experience haha. Eco Revy Hair Ewha Branch is located on the 2nd floor at 4 Ewhayeodae 2-gil, Seodaemun-gu, Seoul.

It's in the alley between Ewha Station and Ewha Womans University, so it was easy to reach by public transport, and there's a big banner out front about scalp/hair-loss head spa care, so it wasn't hard to find haha. According to the salon, they're closed on Sundays, so it's worth confirming that when you book.

2nd floor atmosphere and scalp care equipment

Heading up to the 2nd floor, there's a clean, tidy salon space. Besides the usual hair styling area, there was a shampoo station in the back along with several pieces of scalp care equipment haha

It was bright and clean overall with a white tone, and there was a fairly wide range of dedicated scalp care equipment, which gave it a different feel from a regular hair salon.

The part that stuck with me the most was the scalp diagnosis haha

A device magnified my scalp so I could check it on a monitor, and it was so interesting to see the hair follicles and scalp surface blown up that big haha. Since that's a spot you can never really see in a mirror, I liked being able to check my own scalp condition directly.

At Eco Revy Hair, the approach is to check scalp and hair condition first for healthy hair, then move into care and styling. There was also a notice posted on the salon wall explaining the scalp care process and possible reactions after using the products haha. It even covered things like redness or itchiness, which was good to reference before and after the treatment.

The scalp care space and in-treatment service

The scalp care area had a comfortable reclining shampoo chair and several pieces of equipment. One had a display for setting time and intensity, which made the whole thing feel a lot more systematic than a regular hair appointment haha

They also brought out warm coffee and light snacks partway through the treatment. A long appointment can get tiring, so it was nice to take a break with a cup of coffee haha

Long hair kept, ends trimmed naturally

After finishing up, my hair looked a lot calmer overall. They didn't touch the length much, just trimmed the ends naturally, so the layers blended smoothly when viewed from behind haha

The front also fell naturally along my face line, so it didn't look heavy overall. I especially liked how the ends moved naturally without flying around too lightly haha
