Exterior and parking info

Beautae Esthetic is located near City Hall Station, so it was easy to reach by public transit. It's also close to Myeongdong, so it's a good option for anyone looking into facials in Myeongdong too. It's on the 6th floor of the Hyoryeong Building :)

Inside — private room and powder room

Since it was my first visit, I was curious what the interior would feel like, and the moment I walked in I got the impression everything was kept neat and tidy overall.

There was a private room set up so you could get treated privately. Having a separate space for the treatment meant I could relax and lie down without worrying about anyone else, which I liked.

Something I personally liked was that there was a powder room where you could freshen up comfortably, even if you didn't have to head straight home afterward.

The powder room had a hair dryer ready, and even dry shampoo, which I hadn't expected — it felt like they'd thought of every detail. Facials can sometimes leave your hair pressed down or messed up, so it was practical to be able to tidy up quickly even if you had plans right after. These small touches are actually what raise your satisfaction once you visit in person.

Pre-treatment consultation — talking about congested, bumpy skin

What I liked most was that instead of just laying you down and starting right away, they do a consultation first. We talked about what was bothering me most about my skin lately and what my usual skin type is like, and the treatment direction was set based on my current skin condition.

I mentioned that congested little bumps had been my main concern lately. Rather than just running through a fixed sequence, the products used in the treatment were tailored to the skin concern I described, which felt more thoughtful.

The treatment I received this time was the water-glow facial. Before the treatment properly began, I changed into a disposable gown in the private room and got comfortable, lying down and ready to be treated.

Cleansing

The first step was cleansing. It felt like everything was thoroughly cleared away, from makeup to whatever residue was left on my skin — even from this first step, it felt quite meticulous.

They say how cleanly your skin is prepped in the first step matters a lot in a facial, and after experiencing it myself, I get why cleansing is so important.

Aroma oil treatment

Next, aroma oil was used, tailored to the congested-skin concern I'd mentioned. It was applied to let the oil absorb into the skin, and being treated along with a gentle scent was relaxing and eased the tension.

Rather than being harshly stimulating no matter what, it felt gentle and adjusted to my skin condition, so it wasn't overwhelming. Anyone who's worried about overly stimulating treatments should try mentioning their own skin concerns during the consultation first.

Finishing mask

At the end, a finishing mask was applied to calm the skin and wrap up the treatment. Going step by step from cleansing to a treatment tailored to my concern to the mask, the whole thing felt like it filled the skin with moisture overall.

What I liked most about getting the water-glow facial at Beautae Esthetic was that they do a thorough consultation before starting. Because they talk through your current skin concerns first and set the treatment direction accordingly, it didn't feel like just going through a fixed treatment blindly.

I mentioned that congested bumps were my concern, and they used aroma oil with that in mind, which felt especially thoughtful. The cleansing was thorough too, and the flow into the aroma oil treatment and finishing mask was relaxing throughout.
