Songdo bakery haul of 8 breads for just over ₩30,000: Tomoru Bakery
In short
Tomoru Bakery is a brick-fronted bakery on the ground floor of Acria Building 2 in Songdo, Yeonsu-gu, Incheon. A regular at the Cheongna branch, the writer visited the Songdo shop for the first time and filled a box with eight items — castella bread, streusel strawberry roll, mont blanc, choco muffin, kkwabaegi (twisted doughnut), pizza bread and old-fashioned red bean bread — for a total in the ₩30,000s. Prices at Tomoru Bakery are kinder than the big café bakeries and the butter flavour runs deeper, making it the kind of bakery you'd visit weekly if it were near home.

I've always liked Tomoru Bakery and often make a special trip to the Cheongna branch to buy bread, but I only recently found out there's a Tomoru Bakery in Songdo too! So while out for a stroll in Songdo, I stopped by the Songdo branch of Tomoru Bakery to pick up some delicious bread!
Where is Tomoru Bakery in Songdo, and what are the hours and parking?
Tomoru Bakery Songdo is located at 101, 1st floor, Acria Building 2, 23 Haedoji-ro 120beon-gil, Yeonsu-gu, Incheon. It's open daily from 08:30 to 21:30, and you can use the underground parking at Acria Building 2 — register for 30 minutes free parking with a purchase.
Tomoru Bakery is on the ground floor in a brick building, so it's easy to find.
There are tables and chairs outside so you can eat there, and a few seats inside too, but there's really only 1 seat total. Most customers at the Songdo branch seemed to be picking up bread to take home.

Cakes and cookie gift sets at Tomoru Bakery
Tomoru Bakery Songdo sells 4 kinds of cake — mango sand, fig sand, kirsch, and strawberry dome — along with number candles and various other candles. Tomoru's roll cakes are seriously delicious, and I've bought them often, so I'd bet the cakes are just as good.

The inside of the store was packed, packed full of delicious bread. Just looking at all the bread made me so happy, haha.

They were even selling butter tteok (rice cake), which is super trendy right now!

Tomoru Bakery also sells cookies individually packaged for easy eating, as well as in gift sets. With Chuseok (Korean thanksgiving) coming up soon, a Tomoru cookie set would make a nice, not-too-heavy gift for the people you care about.

What kinds of bread does Tomoru Bakery have, and what do they cost?
There are seriously so~~ many kinds of bread. You'll fall into a happy dilemma trying to decide what to get.

Big café bakeries are often way too expensive, and I've been disappointed by the taste more than once — but Tomoru Bakery's prices are reasonable, and above all, the taste is so, so good. If you try Tomoru's bread, you're guaranteed to become a regular!

The best seller: Tomoru Bakery's cucumber baguette
The cucumber baguette is Tomoru Bakery's best-selling item, and if you haven't tried it yet — seriously!! If you like cucumbers, I highly recommend trying it. It's the kind of flavor that makes you think, "cucumber and baguette make this??"

Coffee prices at the Songdo branch are also on the affordable side, so you can enjoy a coffee without worrying about the cost. And there was bread available to sample too, which was nice for trying things out without pressure.

They also sell a wide variety of sandwiches, croquettes, roll breads, castella, cream breads, and more. The streusel strawberry roll looked delicious to me, so I grabbed that along with a bunch of other breads.

Tomoru Songdo is currently running a review event too — leave a review and get a free americano or iced tea, so I'd recommend joining in on that.

Eight breads for ₩30,000-something: how they tasted at home
Here are the 8 breads I picked out at Tomoru Bakery Songdo — I bought this whole haul and it came to just over ₩30,000. Honestly, that's a fantastic price for all this.
- Castella bread
- Streusel strawberry roll
- Streusel bread
- Mont blanc
- Choco muffin
- Kkwabaegi (twisted doughnut)
- Pizza bread
- Old-fashioned red bean bread
My husband and I tried the bread at home, and you could definitely tell the difference from a regular bakery. The butter flavor was deep, and the castella especially was so delicious. Next time I visit, I'll try some of the breads I haven't had yet. It's such a shame there's no Tomoru Bakery near my house, ㅠㅠ.. if it were nearby, I'd totally be a regular!
A must-visit bakery in Songdo where you can enjoy a wide variety of bread at reasonable prices ❤️
