I was looking for a café with good vibes near Suwon Station and ended up at Hongrad Suwon Station Branch ☕️🤎 There are so many cafés and so many people around Suwon Station that it's hard to decide where to go! Hongrad was somewhere I'd been curious about for a while, so I finally visited this time hahaha.

The moment I stepped inside, the vibe felt cute and comfortable 🫶🏻 It's a great spot for chatting with a friend for a while, or just relaxing over a light cup of coffee!

What's on the menu at Hongrad Suwon Station Branch?

They really have a wide range of drinks and desserts ready to go 👏👏 (just thinking about it gets me excited). Instead of just sticking to one item, I felt like this is a place where it's fun to order several things and share !! Each menu item has a slightly different mood and flavor, so I'd strongly recommend it to anyone who likes trying a bit of everything 💓

A Suwon Station café with comfortable chairs

One thing I quietly care a lot about at cafés is how comfortable the chairs are, and Hongrad Suwon Station Branch did well here! Plenty of cafés have pretty chairs that turn out uncomfortable once you actually sit down 🥹 But here I barely noticed any discomfort the whole time, which was great for chatting over coffee!! It felt like a café that's genuinely good for sitting with a friend and just talking away the time.

Naturally, I ended up taking a bunch of photos 📸 Especially with the desserts and drinks laid out together, it really gave off that proper café feeling ㅎ More photos coming up below~!

Hongrad has a wide variety of desserts, and the ones that get ordered the most are the Ex-Boyfriend Toast, Hongrad Brownie, Brown Croffle, and Basque Cheesecake! 🍰 Ex-Boyfriend Toast in particular is basically the signature item — Hongrad and this toast go hand in hand haha. From toast to cake, brownies, and croffles, there are plenty of dessert options to pick based on your taste, and it's a great spot to visit with a group and order a variety to share!

The overall vibe of the place is comfortable, so it's great for photos, and just sitting there puts you in a good mood haha. If you're meeting someone near Suwon Station and want somewhere calm rather than loud and crowded, this kind of relaxed café would suit you well 🙋‍♀️

Tasting the Ex-Boyfriend Toast, Summer Latte and cheesecake

This time I ordered three things: Ex-Boyfriend Toast 🍞, iced Americano ☕️, and Summer Latte 🥛!

And I also had cheesecake for dessert 🧀🍰 The cheesecake wasn't too heavy or greasy, so it paired well with coffee! You could really taste the savory, smooth flavor of the cheese, and a bite of cake followed by a sip of coffee was just the right combo ☕️🤎

First up was the Ex-Boyfriend Toast, the one I was most curious about! The name alone made it fun to order, and it was even tastier than I expected 😱💓💗 Totally recommend it if you like toast! The sweet dessert went really well with coffee, tasting even better together 🤎

And the iced Americano, which I almost always order at cafés, was clean and easy to drink! Iced Americano with dessert really is a combo that never fails haha. The Summer Latte was also delicious 🌴🤍 I'd recommend it to anyone who likes a smooth, sweet drink!

I'd personally recommend the Ex-Boyfriend Toast + iced Americano combo especially 🍞☕️ If you like pairing something sweet with clean coffee, you'll be satisfied! Everything I ordered this time was so good that I want to try other desserts and drinks on my next visit haha. If you want good vibes plus tasty desserts near Suwon Station !!!
