Yeoksam coffee shop open at 7am with takeout breakfast: Roastery Stan
In short
Roastery Stan Yeoksam Main is a roastery coffee shop between Yeoksam and Gangnam stations in Seoul that opens at 7am. For the next morning's breakfast I took out the Potato Egg Sandwich (4,800 won) and the Club Sandwich (7,800 won), with an americano made from the Deep Black blend, which has no sourness. The two sandwiches were big enough to cover three mornings, so Roastery Stan Yeoksam Main is an easy stop for breakfast before work.

Why I chose Roastery Stan Yeoksam Main for an early breakfast
Lunch at my company doesn't start until 12:30pm, which is pretty late. So ever since I changed jobs, I've made sure to always eat breakfast 👍🏻 If I skip it, I get hungry by 10am and can't focus on work at all ‹( 。 •̀ ᴖ •́ 。 )›
I had plans near Yeoksam Station on the weekend, so I swung by Roastery Stan Yeoksam Main, a Yeoksam café that sells sandwiches, to grab breakfast for the weekday ahead! The café opens at 7am, so it seems like a good option for anyone commuting to Gangnam or Yeoksam before work.
Roastery Stan Yeoksam Main
The address is 52 Nonhyeon-ro 85-gil, 1st floor, Gangnam-gu. It's close to both Yeoksam and Gangnam stations, so accessibility is great.

The storefront sign just says "Stan." There's a watermelon and a signature sitting there — are they selling watermelons? Whose signature is that even..?

Summer really calls for watermelon juice 🍉

Roastery Stan menu: sandwich and drink prices
There are a lot of drinks you don't see often, and the prices are pretty reasonable considering this is Yeoksam!! It says fruit drinks are made in-house with fresh fruit prepped on site, so I'd love to try the Grapefruit Bianco (。•̀ᴗ-ღ) The Super Coffee Orange Bianco is seriously insanely good...
If you leave a review, they give you roasted sweet potato or sweet corn. You have to check the sandwiches through the delivery app! The fresh fruit sando seems to have the most reviews, but it has zero protein in it, so I went with the egg sandwich instead lol. I'm kind of a gym rat(?)

The owner looked busy making sandwiches. It'd be even better if they wore gloves while making them (˶˃ᆺ˂˶) I was the only walk-in customer, so I thought it wouldn't take long, but delivery orders kept coming in nonstop.
Four house blends, and why I picked Deep Black
Roastery Stan Yeoksam Main has four kinds of coffee beans, so it's nice to have a choice.
- Deep Sleep: Colombia
- Deep Yellow: Ethiopia Momora Natural & Colombia
- Deep Red: India & Colombia
- Deep Black: Brazil & Guatemala & India
Deep Sleep seems to be decaf, true to its name. I drank the acid-free Deep Black.

Inside Roastery Stan Yeoksam Main: seating and point rewards
Inside the Roastery Stan Yeoksam café. It's mostly a takeout and delivery spot, but there were actually quite a few tables for sitting down and eating! ദ്ദി˶˙ᵕ˙˶ )

Oh, does the owner like whisky or what~!

You can also earn points, so if you're a regular, make sure to sign up! Points can be used in 100-point units once you hit 3,000.

Three mornings from two takeout sandwiches
Ta-da *.☆⸜(⑉˙ᗜ˙⑉)⸝♡.* The next day, I carried the sandwiches I'd picked up straight to work. About to be a super filling breakfast!!

The americano comes in a big size too, so it lasted me all day ദ്ദി˶˙ᵕ˙˶ ) I bought two sandwiches planning to split them over Monday and Tuesday. But they were so huge I ended up eating them until Wednesday 👀

Potato Egg Sandwich, 4,800 won
I ate the Potato Egg Sandwich (₩4,800) first on Monday. The description says it's filled with a soft, savory mayo sauce between the bread. The potato and egg went well together, and the salt seasoning was just right, so it was delicious. Not too much — a perfectly reasonable amount for one meal. And the americano turned out to be seriously great coffee!

Club Sandwich, 7,800 won
I had the Club Sandwich (₩7,800) on Tuesday. I ate it for breakfast, but with two sandwiches of this size packed in, it'd work well as lunch too ( ៸៸ › ⩊ ‹ ៸៸)♡ Unlike the delivery app photo, there's an extra slice of bread in the middle, so the portion is genuinely huge and super filling. There's no way you can finish it in one sitting.
The egg was also different from the photo — the image showed a plain fried egg, but the sandwich I actually got had mashed egg inside ㅠㅠ There also seemed to be mustard sauce mixed in? I could taste a tangy note that paired well with the vegetables.
I didn't get to try the most famous sando sandwich, but the coffee itself was so good that this Yeoksam café, Roastery Stan Yeoksam Main, would be worth visiting just for coffee alone. Recommended!
