Bikini-ready Brazilian wax before a trip in Sindorim: Waxing Lounge

I had a trip coming up, so this time I got a Brazilian wax done in advance ✈️💗 I was planning to wear a bikini on the trip, so getting groomed ahead of time just put my mind at ease!

The sign and overall look gave a clean first impression ✨ Since hygiene really matters at a waxing salon, I found myself checking out the exterior even before going in, and the whole place felt tidy and well-kept.

As soon as I walked in, I filled out a personal information consent form and a waxing-related consent form on an iPad. Being able to check and fill in the necessary details before treatment myself gave me a sense that things were managed systematically :)

It was easy to check the area I wanted, and I think it would be helpful for first-timers to check prices in advance before visiting 😊

While looking around the inside of the shop, I noticed several awards for being an outstanding managed salon in Guro-gu displayed on the wall. On one side, they were also selling aftercare cream products to use after waxing 🧴 The treatment itself matters, but how you care for your skin afterward matters too, so I liked that I could buy the products I needed right there!

How clean was the waxing room?

The thing I cared about most at Waxing Lounge Sindorim Branch was how clean the waxing room was. The inside was tidy overall, and when I walked in there was no unpleasant smell — just a faint, pleasant scent that made me feel at ease 🌿

There was also a cute stuffed animal on one side, which helped lighten the nervous mood a bit haha 🧸💕

Since it's a space where waxing happens, I pay close attention to hygiene, and the wax and other products used for the treatment also seemed to be kept clean overall. Seeing that made me feel a bit more reassured before the treatment!

The separate shower room at Waxing Lounge Sindorim Branch

Waxing Lounge Sindorim Branch has a separate shower room. With Brazilian waxing, there are times you want to wash up cleanly before or after the treatment, and having a shower room made that convenient.

Especially for someone like me getting waxed before a trip or a schedule, having a shower room really put my mind at ease 😊 Even if I had other plans right after visiting the salon, I could clean up and head out, which felt like a real advantage.

How painful is a Brazilian wax here?

And now for the most important part — the Brazilian waxing review! Honestly, no matter how many times you get it done, Brazilian waxing can never be totally painless…😂 I went in braced for it, and sure enough, it did sting during the treatment.

That said, I've been to several places before, and personally I felt the pain was relatively milder this time! Of course there was some difference depending on the area, but it was better than I expected, which was a relief haha. Since I was planning to wear a bikini before my trip, getting everything neatly taken care of definitely put my mind at ease ✈️👙💗

After the treatment, they carefully explained how to care for the skin afterward. Since skin can get sensitive right after waxing, they let me know what to do and what to watch out for, which I think would be really helpful for anyone getting Brazilian waxing for the first time.

Waxing Lounge also says it has over 70,000 cumulative treatments, which was impressive, showing that a lot of customers have been visiting for a long time! When I visited, they were running a September event too, so if you're planning to visit, I'd recommend checking the event details beforehand 💕

Overall, I got a strong sense that everything from the shop to the treatment space to the products used was kept clean, and the Brazilian waxing was less painful than I expected, which was satisfying. Since I was heading into a trip and planning to wear a bikini, this visit was exactly what I needed 👙✨
