I went to Eulji Darak, the place that always comes to mind when I want a Gangnam Station restaurant with great vibes and pretty food plating — perfect for a date or blind date spot that photographs well.
When making plans near Gangnam Station, this place is famous for nailing both atmosphere and taste, so I visited with high expectations. Not only is the interior gorgeous, but the signature menu items were satisfying too, so I'd strongly recommend it to anyone looking for a stylish spot for gatherings or dates.

Where is Eulji Darak Gangnam Station, and how do you find the 2nd-floor entrance?
Eulji Darak Gangnam Station is close to Gangnam Station, so it wasn't hard to find. You just head up to the 2nd floor of the building.

Once you get to the 2nd floor, there's an elevator without a door, which can be a little confusing. I was like, where on earth is the entrance;; but there's a sign that says entrance haha. Press the elevator button and you can walk right into the restaurant!

White-toned interior and group tables for a meetup at Eulji Darak
Eulji Darak, a great-atmosphere restaurant near Gangnam Station, has an impressive bright, clean vibe with a white color scheme. The space stands out for its not-too-much mood lighting and neat table arrangement. The space is so pretty that it was great for photos even before the food arrived, and the warm atmosphere for conversation made me think it'd be perfect for a group meetup or a date with your partner.

There are group tables too, so it'd be great for gatherings like a group meetup in this warm, bright setting. It's a comfortable atmosphere for chatting!

What we ordered at Eulji Darak Gangnam Station and what it cost
Eulji Darak Gangnam Station's signature menu is the Darak omelet rice, with soft eggs that pour out like a waterfall — a must-order!! The Darak rosé pasta and corn gnocchi are both delicious too, but today I was craving a soft, creamy sauce so I ordered the corn gnocchi. And the katsu sando!! I really wanted a juicy pork loin cutlet sandwich, so I ordered that alongside.
- Darak omelet rice ₩17,000
- Corn gnocchi ₩19,000
- Katsu sando ₩12,000

Corn gnocchi, 19,000 won (with extra bread)
⭐️ Corn gnocchi. A chewy gnocchi plate made with homemade corn purée and cream — that's the charm here. I added bread too, which comes with 4 pieces of crispy baguette. The rich, creamy sauce pairs well with the chewy gnocchi, and the sweetly grilled corn is so delicious! The popping texture of the corn kernels is a nice touch too. Scraping up every last bit of sauce with the bread is the best >__<

Katsu sando, 12,000 won: how thick is the pork cutlet?
⭐️ Katsu sando. A sandwich with a whole thick pork loin cutlet inside. Adding a little of the sauce that comes with it keeps the thick cutlet from feeling too heavy, letting you really taste the proper flavor of the katsu. Above all, the cutlet itself is thick with a great chew, making for a really juicy, delicious katsu sando.

Signature Darak omelet rice, 17,000 won
⭐️ Signature Darak omelet rice. It looked like something made by a Japanese master chef straight out of Instagram..! The fluffy egg looked so soft and delicious.
They cut it beautifully for us, and the way the egg spread out so prettily made me gasp at the plate haha. It really was an omelet rice you'd only expect to see in Japan!💛

An omelet rice with soft egg pouring all over it. Underneath the moist, fluffy egg is fried rice hiding, and the sauce is sweet and savory, blending well with the egg for a really delicious dish.
Is Eulji Darak Gangnam Station good for a group meetup or blind date?
Overall, every single plate at Eulji Darak Gangnam Station is made with care and looks great in photos, and with such a warm, bright atmosphere, it's a great Gangnam Station spot for a group meetup with friends! I was satisfied with the visuals, taste, and atmosphere of the food, so I'd recommend it if you're looking for a great-vibe restaurant near Gangnam Station for a date or blind date.
