Gangnam Western restaurant for weekday lunch rose pasta: Eulji Darak
In short
Eulji Darak Gangnam Station is a Western restaurant on the 2nd floor of a building at the end of an alley, a 6-minute walk from Exit 11 of Gangnam Station in Seoul. Two of us came for weekday lunch and ordered the Darak omurice (omelet rice) at 17,000 won and the Darak rose pasta with bread added at 21,000 won, and we wandered up to the 3rd floor because the entrance is an elevator marked "This is not elevator." Staff slice the omurice open at the table and the rose pasta is mildly spicy, so Eulji Darak Gangnam Station works well for a blind date or a wedding-invitation gathering.

Hi, this is Kim Tol! It's been a while since my last post, haha — today I'm bringing you a pasta spot near Gangnam Station. It's actually a Western food restaurant I'd already visited a few times because it's famous, but this was my first time at the Gangnam branch. The vibe was just as great as I remembered, so it'd be a great place for a blind date or a wedding-invite gathering too. The signature menu items were varied and genuinely delicious! Here's my honest review of Eulji Darak Gangnam Station.

Is the entrance really an elevator? How to find Eulji Darak Gangnam Station
The entrance to Eulji Darak Gangnam Station is neither the big door at the top of the stairs nor the elevator next to it, so it's easy to get lost. It wasn't far from Gangnam Station at all, though — just at the end of an alley, on the 2nd floor!

When you go up the stairs, you see a big door with "This is not door" written on it — I was like, wait what, haha, and tried to open it anyway. Didn't budge.

So then there's an elevator right next to it, and that one says "This is not elba" too. I had no idea what was going on and rode it all the way up to the 3rd floor. Wrong!!!

So neither the elevator nor the door was actually the entrance. Next to it, lol, there's a button — press it and the door opens. It was such a funny, unusual way to enter haha. Eulji Darak Gangnam is on the 2nd floor, and the elevator is the actual entrance!
Inside Eulji Darak Gangnam Station: group tables and the self-service zone
Inside, Eulji Darak Gangnam Station is a clean Western-style restaurant with a big chandelier, and there are group tables toward the back. Even though I visited during a weekday lunch, it was completely full.

Once the elevator door opened, this really clean Western restaurant appeared, haha. I genuinely felt like I'd stepped into another world ><

The inside was pretty spacious. There were group tables and a big chandelier that made everything look really pretty. It wasn't even the weekend — a weekday lunch — and yet it was packed. That's Gangnam for you..!

The self-service zone had water, aprons, dishes, and tissues all set up so you could grab them easily.
Eulji Darak Gangnam Station menu and prices, plus ringing the bell to order
The menu at Eulji Darak Gangnam Station includes omurice, pasta, risotto, steak, and sides like katsu sando, fries, and onion rings. Between the two of us, we ordered dalak omurice for ₩17,000, dalak rose pasta with added bread for ₩21,000, and a drink.

Turns out Eulji Darak has four locations — Euljiro, Seongsu, Dosan, and Gangnam — and Gangnam seems to be the newest one!

The menu didn't have a huge number of items, which actually made it easier to choose. There were various options like omurice, pasta, risotto, and steak, plus sides like katsu sando, fries, and onion rings. We went with the most signature items!
- Dalak Omurice ₩17,000
- Dalak Rose Pasta + added bread ₩21,000
- Drink
That's exactly what the two of us ordered!

This place has a real concept going on, lol. You even ring a bell to order. 🔔 Ding-a-ling, and then a staff member kindly comes over to take your order.
Darak omurice: the omelet staff slice open at your table
The dalak omurice at Eulji Darak Gangnam Station is a signature dish where the staff splits the egg open right at your table. It comes out as fried rice topped with egg, with sauce placed alongside.

Here's a shot of the whole spread! This is how we ate it — the omurice and the bread-added rose pasta.

[ Dalak Omurice ] First up, the dalak omurice! The egg looks so fluffy and puffy, doesn't it — genuinely delicious 🥹 Fried rice topped with egg and sauce alongside, seasoned just right, and the egg had zero fishy taste — really, really good.
A staff member comes over and splits it open for you, personally! I tried splitting one myself once before and it did not come out looking like this, lol. Having the staff do it here meant we got to enjoy it looking picture-perfect.

Mix the beautifully spread-out egg with the rice and sauce, and it's pure heaven. If you visit Eulji Darak, this omurice — the most signature dish — is a must-try!
Darak rose pasta with bread added: how spicy is it?
The dalak rose pasta at Eulji Darak Gangnam Station comes in a lightly spicy rose sauce with fresh cream drizzled on top and meat sauce wrapped around the edge. Adding bread to dip into the sauce was a great call too.

[ Dalak Rose Pasta ] Next, the rose pasta! This one's also a signature dish, and it was lightly spicy. But since we had the omurice alongside it, the spiciness balanced out nicely and it never felt heavy or greasy. Fresh cream drizzled on top, meat sauce around the outside — adding bread to dip into it made it even better.
Is Eulji Darak Gangnam Station good for a blind date or a wedding-invitation gathering?
With friendly staff and a clean interior, Eulji Darak Gangnam Station is a solid pick for a blind date, a date, or a wedding-invite gathering. I tried both signature dishes — the omurice and the rose pasta — and I'd love to come back again.

So that's my full rundown of the signature menu at Eulji Darak Gangnam Station. The staff were kind and the place was spotless — I'd definitely want to visit again. If you're looking for a Western restaurant near Gangnam Station, or a spot for a blind date, a date, or a wedding-invite gathering, I highly recommend it!!
