Special katsudon with two shrimp tempura and a mini curry
What I ordered this time at Baek Sojeong Nambu Bus Terminal was the special katsudon (๑'ᵕ'๑)♡⃛

True to the name 'special,' it came generous and visually striking! On top of that I added two ebiten and a mini curry, and the table ended up completely full!

Since this place is famous for its tonkatsu, I heard the buzz and ordered extra tonkatsu on the side to try it properly ( ⁎ᵕᴗᵕ⁎ )❤︎ Just as rumored, it was crispy outside and packed with juicy meat inside — amazing!

How thick is the tonkatsu, and how does the katsudon sauce taste?
Baek Sojeong's tonkatsu surprised me first with how thick the meat was, and surprised me a second time with how tender it felt the moment I bit into it (๑˙ꄃ˙๑)♡⃛ The batter wasn't thick, letting the meat itself shine, so the savory flavor really stood out!
The salty-savory signature katsudon sauce soaked nicely into the rice and the fried cutlet, and the combination was excellent ( •̀ω•́ )✧ The seasoning wasn't overly sweet, just right, so it stayed delicious to the very last bite!

The quiet winners: ebiten and mini curry
The hidden gem (?) I also added, the two ebiten, had crispy exteriors and plump, satisfying shrimp inside, bursting with savory flavor ٩(ˊ*)o Fresh out of the fryer, warm and fragrant, the flavor spread through my whole mouth — amazing!
The sweet-and-spicy mini curry paired perfectly and cleanly with the katsudon and tonkatsu, making it a genuinely excellent add-on choice ( ⁎ᵕᴗᵕ⁎ )❤︎ The rich, deep curry aroma made the tonkatsu's flavor feel even more layered!

Every combination on the table worked so perfectly that my chopsticks never stopped until I'd scraped up the very last spoonful (๑'ᵕ'๑)♡⃛ The portions were generous too, so even though I was full, it tasted too good to leave anything behind!
