The Olla Poke Seocho Gyodae Branch space is spacious, clean, and relaxed, so eating alone wasn't awkward at all. It's naturally popular at lunchtime, and plenty of office workers stopped by for a quick meal after work too.

Steak poke, 14,000 won: half salad, half oat brown rice
What I ordered at Olla Poke Seocho Gyodae Branch was the Steak Poke, ₩14,000.

I ordered it with a half salad, half oat brown rice base, the recommended wasabi mayo sauce, and seaweed removed.

How to leave out toppings you don't like
The kiosk has an option to remove default toppings. If any of the default ingredients aren't to your taste, just leave them out! Red onion, corn, radish pickle, pineapple, seaweed, lentils, chickpeas, furikake, crispy onion — all removable.

With steak piled on top of fresh vegetables and grains, it made for a satisfying one-bowl meal, and eating the meat together with the vegetables felt hearty! I left out the seaweed, and being able to adjust the ingredients to your liking seems like one of Olla Poke's real strengths.

What Olla Poke keeps at the self-serve bar
Mouthwash, hair ties, toothpicks, wet wipes, and napkins — all thoughtfully prepared.

I'd recommend Olla Poke Seocho Gyodae Branch if you're looking for a great poke spot near Seocho or Gyodae Station.
