Honestly, this Seorae Village café is one of my regular spots, and today I was debating what to try before ordering three popular menu items at once. Financiers, madeleines, croissants, country bread, egg tarts — every bread here looks delicious no matter when I come. Even on a weekday afternoon, the place was packed with customers. Nearly full except for maybe two or three tables?? Is everyone not working, what are you all doing here? Guess I'm the only one working. Jealous of this weekday-off life, haha.

My favorite cake is the Basque cheesecake. Baked at high heat, the surface turns slightly bitter while the inside stays dense, rich, and moist. The moment you take a bite, the intense flavor of cream cheese fills your mouth, and the way it melts heavily is just excellent. Best paired with an Americano.

The cake was delicious and everything I ordered today was a success~~!! I'll come back again~ Next time I'll sit down and have coffee too. There were a few small terrace seats too, and sitting out there seems like it would be nice.
