Busanjin curry restaurant for kimchi croquettes: Sarugak20

Today’s solo-dining menu is curry, of course!!!! I suddenly thought of Moru Restaurant, which I had loved for ages, so I visited Sarugak20, Moru Restaurant’s second location!! (Moru Restaurant is gone now.....)

Even the entrance was filled with such cute little decor, haha.

This is what it looks like inside..! When you walk in, the owner will welcome you so warmly...!! haha

There are group seats and table seats too, haha!! It would be great for solo diners, couples, and even families, haha.

It has the wood-toned interior I loooove, and it feels so cozy and warmㅠㅠㅠㅠ

Ordering shrimp cream curry and a sweet potato cheese croquette

Here’s the menu, haha. Choose your curry, then add from the many extra options to suit your taste. I was craving cream curry today! So I decided to try the shrimp cream curry and sweet potato cheese croquette.

After ordering, there’s this little decor zone? It’s so cutely arranged that it’s fun to browse around〰️

It kind of feels like a café, but also like a little gift shop. There was a mirror, so I took a photo too, hahaha.

I was thinking the pictures on this wall were so pretty, and then—

It looked like they were for sale too!! There were paintings, keychains, bracelets, rings, and other little goods.

There’s also a little hand-washing area in the corner, and this space was so atmospheric and totally my style... They even had hand cream out (the owner’s sense is so good〰️).

I should have washed my hands once, but I didn’t, sadlyㅠㅠㅠㅠㅠㅠㅠ

It was definitely underground, but looking at the window counter seats, it’s above ground??! Hahahahaha. I think it’s because of the slope! The sunlight came in and a gentle breeze blew through, which was so nice, haha.

I sat at the counter seat, then turned my head and saw my face in the mirror, so of course I took another photo, hahaha.

Once you choose a seat you like and sit down, they bring you cutlery and water! The water bottle was kind of adorable, haha. It felt like a personal water bottle?

There was green tea and lemon water too! If you don’t want plain water, there are other options to suit your taste!

Cream curry with shrimp and garlic flakes

My shrimp cream curry and kimchi sweet potato cheese croquette arrived, haha.

The garlic flakes sprinkled over the rice... are the key...!!!

Put a shrimp and some flakes on the curry and eat it togetherㅠㅠㅠㅠ It’s sooo delicious.

Yuzu salad and a generously filled croquette

Now for the sweet potato cheese croquette. There was yuzu salad underneath too, and it was tangy and delicious!!!! After waking up my appetite with the salad—

So much sweet potato mousse, and so much cheese too!!!!

I cleared every last bit (and got a kimchi refill), hahaha. It was seriously so good!! If you like curry, I totally recommend it🤎 They say rice and curry refills are available too, so if you need more, just ask. I didn’t get a refill, but I ate until I was absolutely stuffed〰️🫶

You can order frozen curry too, so you can eat it at home!! Delivery and takeaway are both available, and since I pack lunch to take around, I think it would be so convenient for me. I’m going to order the frozen curry next time, haha.
