I came back to Naeil Didi, a place famous for Gangnam nails with a lot of loyal regulars, after a long time away. I have a habit of biting my nails, and I'd heard that getting your nails done is one way to fix it (an excuse, honestly, something my boyfriend said, haha), so I finally booked an appointment ☺️

Open 11:00 / close 21:00. Naeil Didi is always open, weekdays and weekends alike! Great for office workers or anyone busy. It's a 5-minute walk from Apgujeong Rodeo Station, so it's really accessible 👍

Naeil Didi is located on the 5th and 6th floors, and I was shown to the 5th floor. I even got a text that morning confirming the location and my appointment :)

The 5th floor interior has floor-to-ceiling windows, so you never feel cooped up while getting your nails done, and I really loved the all-white space 💟 It's also spacious, so multiple customers can be served at once :)

You can see even more on their Instagram — lots of syrup nails and magnetic nails, so there are plenty of options ☺️ Everyone who had appointments before me was getting extensions. Turns out they're well known for extensions too! I heard the chairs at the pedicure station are super comfortable, haha.

Naeil Didi is especially famous for wedding nails, and they say every part they use is genuine Swarovski. No wonder the sparkle is next level!! Having gotten married myself recently, seeing all the nail colors and dedicated wedding designs here made me wish I'd gotten my wedding nails done at this place 🥹

This Apgujeong nail salon has a lot of true regulars. When I visited, the staff already seemed on friendly terms with other customers — which just shows how kind and professional they are! Even as a first-timer, they guided me very kindly 💕

From cuticle care to color: how the appointment went

Work begins! Everything is kept impeccably tidy.

First, they shaped my nails and did the basic prep. Their hands moved so fast and precisely that it was reassuring!

Cuticle removal — the step I always dread! I was clearly tense, so they told me to relax, and worked so cleanly and carefully that there was no bleeding at all. Very professional. My nails were short, so they didn't shape them into a particular style, just trimmed them neatly, checking from different angles so the length looked balanced even from a distance ☺️

Picking the new nude shade no.4

For color, I went with that trendy nude look! There were so many shades that picking one was tough 😂 Naeil Didi uses a nourishing base coat, which made the nail buffing hurt less 👍 — such a thoughtful touch for customers. (You know how painful nail buffing can be, right..?) I tried on two of the new nude shades and ended up choosing no.4, the one that suited me best 🎶

Even while applying the polish, they made sure it was symmetrical and never lopsided on one side — so it would look good from any angle.

All done! Ahhh, isn't the color so pretty? That barely-there manicure look — I love the color so much 👍 The nail thickness felt just right too ❤️ I'm not going to bite my nails anymore, I promise...

Before I left, they even applied moisturizer to my nails, haha. I think I'm going to enjoy looking at my nails now 😆

I had plans the next day, so I snapped a photo of my nails on my way out! The color recommendation matched the season perfectly, and everything was done so cleanly and neatly. My partner said the color suited my hands too, which put me in an even better mood 💕💕
