My eyebrows are thick and dark, but they grow in an unfair shape. So I've been trimming them myself with an eyebrow razor, and there's a 78% chance they end up uneven... but I can't draw them on either, so I just go out like that.

Actually, I got an eyebrow tattoo 8 years ago near Hapjeong, and after that it faded and I stopped caring about it.

Even the day I went to try on my dress, my brows were uneven — say no more... T_T With my wedding coming up, I figured I should cover the old marks and get a fresh design before it's too late, so I did some research and found a decent place!

How to get to Mood Moon Brow from Sports Complex Station

Finding it was super easy! Come out Exit 9 of Jonghap Undong-jang Station (Lines 2, 9) and you'll arrive within a 5-minute walk ٩(๑´0`๑)۶

The Winners Building is split into Building 1 and Building 2, so as long as you don't wander into Building 1, you should find it fine! Head up to the 6th floor of the building with Napoleon Bakery on the ground floor.

Walk to the very end of the 6th floor and you'll find Mood Moon Brow ( ๑˃̶ ꇴ ˂̶)♪⁺ One shot before going in!

Inside the studio and the Jamsil view

The studio was clean in a white tone. I could tell the director really keeps the place well-managed. If a place is dirty and disorganized, you don't even want to lie down....

So neat.

Oh, another perk of Mood Moon Brow is the great view hahaha. You can look out over an open Jamsil skyline. The kind of view that's good for zoning out.

Lip tattoo is another one of the director's specialties. My upper lip is thinner than my lower lip, so we had an in-depth consultation. I was a question-mark murderer, but... the director answered everything so kindly haha. She even compared it to fillers, so it all clicked for me! I'm too scared before the wedding, but I'm thinking of trying it afterward ෆ˙ᵕ˙ෆ

Covering 8-year-old brow marks with a combo eyebrow tattoo

The before photo is as raw as an ID photo... Like I said, my brows grow downward. So unfair T_T The shapes of both sides are also different, which makes them hard to manage alone.

I got mine 8 years ago, but faint marks still remain, so we decided to go with the combo technique! She said the right style depends on things like skin oiliness.

I really loved how carefully the director worked on the design. She'd draw, ask my opinion, draw again, ask my opinion again. I could feel how meticulous she was with every step! She designed it in the trendy 'semi-arch' style these days, and I loved it ٩(๑´0`๑)۶

I was worried about the pain, but somehow I fell into a deep sleep without even realizing it haha. I opened my eyes and everything was already done. I was surprised how clean my brows looked. The old marks were completely covered too!! I was worried they'd look drawn-on and cartoonish, but they turned out better than expected, so I'm super satisfied.

Before and after comparison!!! It really hit me again how much just your eyebrows can change your whole look. Now I can just trim along that shape, which will be so much easier...

And more than anything, it's so natural! The front part was done with strokes and the back part with shading, so the '1:1 personalized' thing really made sense to me ★

Ahh, so satisfied!!!! Since it's done to look as natural as possible, she said it stays looking good for about 1 to 1.5 years! After that, getting a retouch is best, she said haha.

Aftercare: what to avoid after an eyebrow tattoo

When it's done, they give you a 3-day supply of recovery cream and a pamphlet with precautions!

• No washing your face the same day / avoid face cleansers for 4–5 days
• Avoid water, basic skincare products, cleansing, and oils for a week
• Apply recovery cream 1–2 times a day for 3 days
• Never scratch once peeling starts
• Retouch is possible starting one month later

Since it's a one-person studio, the care felt even more meticulous and personalized, and I was very satisfied. The location was great too. A friend of mine was actually considering it, so I recommended it haha. Hoping the place keeps thriving ♡
