I'm here, I'm here! haha Is everyone asleep already? haha My partner and I went out for dinner in Anrak-dong today ~ and today's menu was... eel!!!!!!
It's been a while since I fed my partner something delicious, so we went to an unlimited eel restaurant ~ haha It's ::Songnim Bok Jangeo Unlimited Freshwater Eel::
Where is Songnim Bok Jangeo in Anrak-dong, and how close is the bus stop?
Songnim Bok Jangeo Unlimited Freshwater Eel, Busan Dongnae Branch, is at 146 Myeongjang-ro, Dongnae-gu, Busan, South Korea (1st floor). I went by bus and it turned out to be close to the bus stop ~ Here's what the exterior looks like — they say the eel here is prepared fresh every morning. Checking the origin label, it clearly said domestic! haha

The interior is clean! Since it hasn't been open long, it was definitely tidy ~ This photo was taken before we started drinking, so why is it blurry... oh right, I was just really, really hungry....^^ heh

There's also a self-service corner in the middle!

Songnim Bok Jangeo all-you-can-eat prices and menu
Unlimited refill is ₩29,900 for adults / ₩14,000 for children, with a ₩3,000 table setting fee ~ For rice/noodle dishes there's eel soup, yukgaejang, buckwheat mak-guksu (cold buckwheat noodles), and spicy ramyeon, and takeout is also available at 650g for ₩35,000! haha
I really loved the phrase on the menu board — 'Your smile is our greatest reward. Stay healthy and be blessed.' ~ haha

On the wall there's a guide to eating eel deliciously, plus the 7 benefits of freshwater eel ~ I gave it a quick read after ordering haha And I learned for the first time that eel and bokbunja (black raspberry wine) go well together ㅇ.ㅇ Apparently eating them together doubles the benefits — oooh!

What is on the self-bar?
Songnim Bok Jangeo's self-bar had ginger, steamed onion, white kimchi, green onion kimchi, steamed perilla leaves, garlic, chili peppers, and wrap vegetables! That's the corner we glimpsed earlier ~

True to the unlimited refill concept, eel, pork belly, and chicken neck meat are all ready to go ㅎ_ㅎ

And what surprised me... they served bokbunja wine on the house as an opening event!? Wow!!

The dipping sauce for the eel and all sorts of side dishes were set up quickly ~

Grilling the eel skin-side first: no tiny bones, and the sauce is the kick
The first plate came out looking like this !_! Even if you don't eat eel, there's grilled pork belly and chicken neck meat too, so it should work out fine —

What are you doing, partner, hurry up and grill it deliciously! lol

You all know you're supposed to grill eel starting from the skin side, right~? Grilled it carefully, cut it, grilled it more haha

Wrapped it up like this, and like that — honestly my partner isn't really an eel person, but I ate so much more than usual today that they were surprised ㅇ.ㅇ That's how fresh and delicious it was. This sauce is genuinely the kick!!!! The sauce is so good ㅠㅠ The eel just kept going down lol No fishiness at all, and it was cleaned so well there were no small bones either heh

Can you see how thick the eel is....?! So plump!!

Chicken neck meat and pork belly rounds at Songnim Bok Jangeo
As we were finishing the eel, we moved on to the chicken neck meat > ,<

Finished it off with some pork belly heh

Finishing with spicy ramyeon cooked chewy
And to soothe our slightly greasy stomachs, spicy ramyeon! I asked them to cook it chewy, and they delivered this perfectly chewy noodle ~ How can anyone resist this visual ㅠㅠ

So we ended up with two bottles... it was so delicious we couldn't resist and drank two whole bottles....lolololol

Would I bring my parents to Songnim Bok Jangeo?
If there were a place like this near home, I'd really want to take my parents ~ My partner even said it reminded them of their older sibling while eating lol That's how genuinely delicious it was! The staff were friendly too, which made for an even more enjoyable dinner :)
