Lately when I go café hunting I've been looking for places where I can enjoy dessert along with a drink, not just the drink alone. This time I visited Jo Hui-tak Coffee.
Whenever I visit a café I end up agonizing over what to order, and this time I went with a strawberry latte and a peach yogurt cake. I tend to like bright, fruity flavors, so I picked the menu items with strawberry and peach.

What the inside of Jo Hui-tak Coffee feels like
The first thing that caught my eye walking into Jo Hui-tak Coffee was the overall warm wood-toned decor. Wood is used heavily across the floor, tables, and chairs, giving the whole space a calm, comfortable feel.
Heading toward the counter, the thing that stands out most is the glass dessert showcase.
Inside the showcase, cakes and various desserts are on display, so I could check them out in person before ordering.
When picking a dessert at a café, it's a lot easier when the actual desserts are laid out in a showcase rather than just choosing from photos or menu names. There were tons of dessert options, too. The new fruit sando in particular was a popular pick.
Coffee, non-coffee, tea, cake, dessert, sando — everything down to the desserts was neatly organized and easy to take in at a glance.
Even the dessert photos hanging around the shop looked so tempting!

I could even buy Suwon souvenirs there — so cute, perfect as a souvenir!

On one side of the shop there's a long wooden communal table where several people can sit together. It looked good both for a solo visit and for a group visit. Wood-toned chairs lined up neatly around the long table gave off a tidy, natural feel.
On the other side there were tables and chairs suited for 2–4 people, and further in, booth-style seats with backrests. So Jo Hui-tak Coffee didn't feel like a café with just one type of seating — more like a space where you can choose a seat depending on your group size or the situation.
The buzzer was so cute too, haha.
