Decaf iced latte and egg tart at Haeundae's Low & Sweet Bakery
In short
Low & Sweet Bakery is a bakery café tucked in a side alley off Haeridan-gil in Haeundae, Busan. This visit was a decaf iced latte for 6,300 won paired with an egg tart and two baked cookies, and the decaf latte turned out surprisingly nutty and smooth — the standout of the day. There was no salt bread left to try, but the egg tart alone made this a café worth revisiting.

Low & Sweet Bakery, tucked on Haeridan-gil. This is a spot famous for egg tarts and salt bread... but be careful, you might accidentally wander into the roastery coffee shop at the entrance first. The bakery itself is further inside!! 🙂

It's not a hard walk from Haeundae Station, and it's a great stop while wandering the inner alleys of Haeridan-gil. If you're driving, don't count on plentiful dedicated parking — it's better to also keep a nearby public parking lot in mind.

Interior that fits the Haeridan-gil vibe perfectly

The RAW AND SWEET sign isn't huge, but the overall look is clean enough to stand out on the alley. It contrasts with the red-colored shop right next door, so it's easy to spot even in photos. It also blends well with Haeridan-gil's distinctive vibe of converted residential houses turned into shops.

Your eyes go straight to the bread the moment you walk in
Walking in, you notice the bakery display case before you even think about ordering coffee. Financiers, egg tarts, croissants, Danishes, salt bread — quite a variety, and plenty of items were still left in the case that day.

Salt bread ₩3,400, croissant ₩4,600, pain au chocolat ₩5,200, blueberry Danish ₩5,000, egg tart ₩3,800, canelé ₩3,600, cookie ₩4,800... Rather than a lineup of pricey desserts just for tourists, the price range felt mixed enough that you could pick a few items one at a time.
Today's order: decaf iced latte and three bakery items
This time I switched the iced latte to decaf and ordered one egg tart plus two baked cookies. Honestly, when traveling you end up drinking a lot of coffee, so whether decaf is an option matters quite a bit. Here you can order the latte decaf too, which took off some of the pressure. The latte was ₩6,300.

The latte was way better than expected
What impressed me first on this visit was the coffee. I figured decaf might taste or smell a bit flat, but that wasn't the case at all. The milk and coffee didn't feel separate — everything came together nutty and smooth.👍
Rather than a heavy or overly sweet dessert, it felt more like something that naturally pairs with coffee. I think eating the egg tart in-store with the coffee leaves a stronger impression than just taking one to go.
The baked cookies weren't picked carelessly either

The two baked cookies I ordered alongside were satisfying too. As in the photo, a lot of them had a deeply baked surface, and on the first bite you noticed the buttery flavor and baked aroma before any straightforward sweetness.
Best of all, since the coffee was so good, your hand naturally reaches for the cookies too. With cafés like this, you can usually be satisfied if just one of the two — coffee or bakery — is good, but this time both backed each other up, which really lifted the overall impression.
The interior isn't big, but the atmosphere is good

Inside is a mix of white-toned walls, wooden furniture, and marble tables. It's not a huge café and the space between seats isn't overly generous either. But the space itself is tidy without feeling overdecorated, making it a nice place to rest for a bit. The vintage coffee machine, shelves, and goods by the counter round out the café's atmosphere quite well.
Judge parking by all of Haeridan-gil, not just the café

Low & Sweet Bakery suits a stroll through Haeridan-gil more than driving straight up to the front door. Recent visit info confirms some people have used designated parking spots right in front of the store, but the space itself isn't generous. On weekends, Haeridan-gil itself gets crowded, so it might be more comfortable to park at a nearby public lot from the start and walk over.

Next time, I'll order the latte first
This time the bakery items were great too, but if I go again, I think I'll order the iced latte first thing. Even as decaf, satisfaction was high, and the egg tart and cookies backed that coffee up beautifully.
My verdict after visiting in person

Among the cafés I visited on Haeridan-gil this time, Low & Sweet Bakery was the one where both coffee and bakery items left an impression. The iced decaf latte was nutty and smooth, and the egg tart and cookies exceeded expectations. There was no salt bread so I went with second choices, but the egg tart was truly the best of the best. Personally, this felt like a café I'd want to revisit more for the taste than the atmosphere.
