Busanjin curry restaurant with brisket cream curry: Sarugak20
In short
Sarugak20 is a Japanese-style curry restaurant in Busanjin, Busan. I tried the brisket cream curry with an added pork cutlet for 15,000 won, and the curry was plentiful, creamy, and pleasantly spicy. Verdict: a cozy, good-value curry spot worth revisiting.

A Japanese-style curry restaurant found in Jeonpo
Wow!!! I found another amazing curry place in Jeonpo-dong that can go toe-to-toe with Sapporo soup curry. Highly recommend it haha 💪

Don’t get lost (that was me)—just head straight down to B2 haha.

Huh? ㅇ0ㅇ I was told this was a curry restaurant, but it gives the other little shops in Jeonpo a run for their money lol. You come to eat, then have unexpected finds that make shopping so fun... I think the owner planned it that wayㅠㅠ Protect my wallet at all costs ㅠ

An interior full of sunlight and little objects
Apparently Sarugak20 is the second branch of Moru Sikdang, which was hot in Jeonpo. It felt so cozy and warm, with an extra dose of homey charm ❣️

A loft-style, room-style space where it feels like you’ve rented the whole place for yourselves. It looked cozy enough to make you want to lie down.

There are even seats where warm sunlight wraps around you. The atmosphere was so good I felt full before even eating the curry 😋 That wall-to-wall window alone makes this a sunshine spot. It would be so lovely to eat here while watching the rain on a rainy day, too!

Seats for anyone thinking, “The window is a bit much; I just want to look straight ahead (at YouTube) and eat,” haha. There are lots of academies nearby, so it’s also perfect for coming alone and grabbing a quick meal.

Brisket cream curry with an added pork cutlet
I was going to sit by the window, but;; the glare was intense, so I decided to watch it moodily from afar instead,,;; Still, I could see the sunny view from here ☀️

They got cooking right away, and the brisket cream curry came out in no time.

It had been sooo long since I’d had this kind of Japanese-style curry, since soup curry in Sapporo three years ago. It was so ridiculously good that I wondered why I hadn’t come sooner 🫠🫠🫠 (Let’s promise to eat delicious things regularly, okay,,!)
It already passed because there was more curry than rice lol. It was nicely spicy and creamy, plus it had tender brisket, so even a spice wimp like me ate it really well!

How exactly are you supposed to stop spooning this up.. Is this really only ₩4,000?

The portion was generous and it was fried so well that it practically felt like ordering a whole pork cutlet lol. Imagine how delicious it is dipped in the curry~? I’m guessing that’s why they sell it separately ^^
I’m the type to keep my word lol. And without anyone telling me, I immediately figured out how to eat it. (I only become a genius when I’m eating..)

I made sure to enjoy the brisket + curry + pork cutlet trio, too~ No matter how you eat it, it’s the kind of meal you’ll leave without regrets.

The spot she swept through once again.. The place where a beautiful person has been is beautiful ❣️ A funny-sad review: I ate so well, got completely full, and then went to work ^*^ The prices are affordable and the vibe is so 🔥my style🔥 that I think I’ll find myself thinking about it now and then,,? Even after I arrived, people kept coming in haha. Seems like I was the only one who didn’t know about it ^^,,
