Where is Yu Yu Yu in Gimhae? The drive past Gaya CC and Gaya Land

Yu Yu Yu (유유유, UUU) is a large bakery café at 450 Inje-ro, Gimhae, with a separate main building and annex. It sits near Gimhae landmarks like Gaya CC, Gaya Theme Park, Gaya Land, Inje University, and Gimhae Astronomical Observatory, so it's an easy stop on a drive. It's known as a café with a great view, but I visited late in the evening.

There's a separate annex too. Parking is ample in front of both the main building and the annex. You order at the main building, then sit wherever you like.

Yu Yu Yu menu: signature U Latte and the decaf switch

Yu Yu Yu's signatures — the U Latte, U Cream Latte, and U-Sim Shake — stand out. Coffee menu items can be switched to decaf for an extra ₩1,000. Since I went late, the patbingsu was already sold out. Beyond coffee, there's fruit juice, misugaru (roasted grain drink), various lattes, ades, handmade teas, smoothies, slushes, TWG teas, and more — plenty of fun choosing.

Is any bread left late at night? Salt bread and the signature sandwich

Gimhae dessert spot, bakery café UUU — true to its bakery-café reputation, most of the bread was already gone by the time I arrived late. There were lots of salt bread varieties, big and chunky, exactly my style 🥐❤️ The staff said the café's sandwiches and various salt breads sell really well. Just as they said, the signature sandwich looked delicious too, and I really wanted to try the scallion salt bread and the mentaiko mayo salt bread.

Main building vs annex: how the two spaces differ

Yu Yu Yu's main building has a modern, clean, bright feel. Even though I went pretty late, it was still packed with people. A Gimhae hotspot, as expected...

Annex first floor: the terrace that feels outdoors without being outdoors

The annex's first floor has a different mood from the main building. Where the main building feels modern and bright, the annex feels a bit more atmospheric and emotional. I liked the terrace space too — outdoor-ish without quite being outdoor. Since most other guests were in the main building, I chose the quieter annex.

Annex second floor: night views from the floor-to-ceiling windows

The annex's second floor has a great night view. I figured a café known for its view wouldn't show much at night, but the night view was actually really atmospheric. Soft indoor lighting plus the night skyline outside — mood: great 💗

The annex's second floor has UUU's signature floor-to-ceiling window — one whole wall is glass, which must be even more popular in daylight. I'll have to come back in the daytime to enjoy that window view.

What we ordered: soft cream brûlée salt bread and Earl Grey tigré

We ordered yuja slush, plum ade, French Earl Grey (TWG tea), soft cream brûlée salt bread, and Earl Grey tigré. I went back and forth between the scallion salt bread and the mentaiko salt bread but landed on the cream brûlée salt bread.

Both the cream filling and the sugar coating were really tasty without being too sweet. The Earl Grey tigré had a rich, well-preserved Earl Grey flavor — small but a strong hit 😇 Both the desserts and the drinks were a hit, no misses. Big cafés are usually all price and no taste, worst value for money — but at this Gimhae bakery café, both the desserts and drinks were genuinely good 😘👍

Can you bring kids and dogs? Amenities at Yu Yu Yu

Yu Yu Yu has amenities like dog cushions, baby chairs, and lap blankets. They've laid out all sorts of comfort items so guests can relax freely — just seeing them puts my mind at ease. That's it for this review of a great time at Yu Yu Yu, Gimhae's big bakery café!
