Jinhae skewer restaurant, three meats and pasta: Shashlik Jinhae

My parents came down to Changwon over the weekend, so we went out for dinner together in Jinhae. This time we visited Shashlik Jinhae Branch, known as a Western-style restaurant in Jinhae, where you can try meat grilled directly over charcoal — I went in with high expectations.

Shashlik Jinhae Branch hours and where to park in Seokdong

Shashlik Jinhae Branch operates Monday 17:00–23:00 and Wednesday through Sunday 12:00–22:00, with every Tuesday closed. For parking, you can use the Seokdong parking lot on the 2nd floor of the building right beside (across from) the restaurant — it's a private lot, not public — and 1 hour of parking is supported.

Shashlik Jinhae Branch supports 1 hour of free parking, so I could visit without worrying about parking. You can use the Seokdong Paid Parking Lot on the 2nd floor of Geunseong Building next door, so if you're driving, keep this in mind.

Shashlik Jinhae Branch is located on the 2nd floor of Yongho Building. There's an elevator in the building, so getting up was easy.

We visited without a reservation, but since we arrived early around 5pm, we got seated right away with no wait.

Inside Shashlik Jinhae Branch: is it good with kids?

The inside of Shashlik Jinhae Branch is spacious and prettily decorated with cute dolls and props.

Shashlik Jinhae Branch has toys ready for families to enjoy together while waiting for their meal, so it looked like a great spot to visit with kids too.

The gaps between tables were also wide, so we could chat comfortably with family and eat at ease.

You order by scanning the QR code on the table with your phone — simple. We ordered the Special Shashlik (extra meat) and the Tomato Cheese Pasta. They're also running a Naver receipt review event, where you can choose fries or an ade if you participate, so give it a try if you visit.

What the Special Shashlik with extra meat tastes like

Once you order, they bring out side dishes and sauces like pickles and peppers to go with the meal.

The Special Shashlik lets you try three kinds of meat at once — chicken thigh, pork neck, and beef skirt. Since there were three of us eating, we added extra meat, and the portion was really generous, wasn't it? Haha.

It came with pineapple, bell pepper, mushroom, garlic and more alongside the meat, so I loved that I could enjoy various vegetables and fruit together.

It was my first time trying chicken, pork, and beef all at once, and out of the three, chicken was my favorite. Lol. Comparing the three kinds as I ate naturally helped me figure out my own meat preference!

Dipping the meat in chili or spicy sauce as I ate, it disappeared in no time.

Tomato cheese pasta at Shashlik Jinhae Branch

The Tomato Cheese Pasta is made with a traditional Italian tomato sauce simmered for two and a half hours.

The tomato's distinctive tangy and sweet flavors blended together, and I enjoyed it a lot.

There was a generous layer of mozzarella cheese on top, so the cheese stretched with every bite of pasta. The savory cheese flavor made it even more delicious.
