Nampo-dong sushi restaurant A-set lunch with side dishes: Moshi Moshi

I had some errands to run around Nampo-dong and was trying to figure out where to eat lunch, so I ended up at Moshi Moshi Sushi in Lotte Department Store Gwangbok.

Nampo-dong has so many good restaurants that I always end up agonizing over what to eat, but that day I was craving something clean and light yet filling. So I decided on sushi and looked around the dining hall at Lotte Department Store Gwangbok until I settled on Moshi Moshi Sushi.

What I liked especially was that since it's inside the department store, parking and getting around are easy, and you can shop before or after eating. Moshi Moshi Sushi is right there on the 10th floor dining hall of the main building, so it wasn't hard to find either.

Walking in, the place had a clean, tidy atmosphere overall. As you'd expect from a sushi restaurant, the menu was varied — you could order à la carte or go for a set menu, which made choosing easy.

We ordered the A-set that day.

At a sushi place you always end up deciding whether to just eat sushi or add other dishes too, but ordering the set meant we got to try several things at once, which I liked.

After ordering and waiting a bit, the food started coming out as a full spread, and as each dish filled up the table it looked more generous than I expected.

Along with the sushi came side dishes to eat alongside it, so it didn't feel lacking as a lunch at all.

The sushi was, of course, what I was most looking forward to that day.

Above all, the location was convenient.

Lotte Department Store Gwangbok connects directly to Nampo Station, so it's easy to reach by public transportation. If you're out in Nampo-dong without a car and looking for lunch, I'd say the accessibility here is pretty good.

Being inside the department store also makes it easy to find a café or go shopping afterward, and it's convenient on hot or rainy days too since you don't have to walk far between places.

Personally, I think a department store dining hall like this is a solid option when looking for lunch near Nampo Station.

Especially around lunchtime, it's a plus being able to move straight on to other plans after eating.

When you want one clean, filling meal in Busan

I tried the A-set that day and was satisfied being able to try several kinds of sushi at once.

Sushi really does taste better when you eat a little of many kinds. Each piece had a different flavor and texture from the last, so I kept naturally reaching for more.

The set was a satisfying full meal, and better than eating just sushi alone since I got to enjoy a range of dishes together.

Best of all, being able to shop and eat in the same building made it easy to fit into a day's plans.
