A while ago I visited Sese Coffee, a place famous for café desserts on Songni-dan-gil.

First impressions of Sese Coffee Songni-dan-gil and its outdoor seats
Sese Coffee Songni-dan-gil isn't a huge store, but it's not tiny either! Seen from outside, it's a Songni-dan-gil café dessert spot with a slightly wood-toned, warm feel^^

This Songni-dan-gil café dessert favorite, Sese Coffee, also has outdoor seats out front. As in the photo on the right, there's a spot set up outside — sitting there to eat would feel really atmospheric.

Sese Coffee hours, parking and the walk from Songpanaru Station
Here are the hours for this Jamsil roastery café, Sese Coffee. Weekdays 10:00–20:00, weekends 11:00–20:00.
Sese Coffee Songni-dan-gil, this Songni-dan-gil café dessert spot, is less than 5 minutes on foot from Songpanaru Station on Line 9. There's a bit of parking space next to the café, so you can bring a car, but note it's not very spacious!

What is the interior of Sese Coffee like?
I already felt it from the exterior — Sese Coffee sits just off the main street of Songni-dan-gil, and from there on it had a calm feeling, and stepping inside, that exact same mood I felt outside carries right in....!
Overall it felt comfortable and cozy, with wooden furniture and plants blending together naturally.

Beans for sale and the coffee menu at this Songpa roastery
At this Songni-dan-gil café dessert spot Sese Coffee, they also sell knick-knacks and roasted coffee beans. Apparently their own roasted beans are really delicious^^

You just pick whichever beans suit your taste! There are detailed bean descriptions so you can choose accordingly. This is the beans for sale, and —

here are the roasted coffee types at Sese Coffee, this Jamsil roastery café. There are even more types than the beans! And the prices seem really reasonable for roasted coffee!! I've seen a lot of roasted coffees priced way higher than this. Types and flavors are all so varied that there's probably one that suits everyone's taste.

Besides the roasted coffee, here's Sese Coffee's other drink menu, this Jamsil roastery café. Coffee, latte types, non-coffee, and teas — all kinds of variety^^

Which dessert did we order at Sese Coffee?
Sese Coffee's desserts include levain cookies, tiramisu, and pound cakes, and I ordered a choco chip pound cake haha. I had a feeling it'd taste great with coffee.

Watching the brewing from the bar seat: two cups of brewed coffee
At Sese Coffee, this Jamsil roastery café, you can watch the coffee being brewed right in front of you. Sitting at the bar seat especially puts it right before your eyes, and since I sat there that day, it was a fun thing to watch^^
The first brewed coffee was Honduras La Casa Washed, a delicious coffee with jasmine and guava notes, plus blueberry and honey aromas^^

That day I was in the mood for something nutty rather than acidic, so I ordered this one, and it really was refreshing with a subtle jasmine aroma — delicious^^
The second brewed coffee was Brazil Santa Ines Natural, a Yellow Bourbon variety that's the peak of nuttiness — almond, chocolate, peanut, hazelnut. Highly recommend it to anyone who prefers a nutty flavor over acidity.

I sipped it slowly, savoring the flavor — it really was nutty with a subtle chocolate aroma, a delicious coffee.
How the choco chip pound cake tasted
And then the choco chip pound cake — not dry, not too sweet, soft, and really delicious!

The white powder dusted on top seems to make the pound cake taste even better, and the chocolate chips scattered throughout the cake gave little bites here and there that were so delicious^^

Our Bopi and I enjoyed the coffee and pound cake at Sese Coffee, this Jamsil roastery café, very much^^
