A terrace Italian restaurant near Seoul Forest Station

It was such a bright weekend afternoon, haha. I was looking for somewhere with a pretty terrace so I could take a walk with my beloved dog, Ppup-pupu! This is a famous pasta spot in Seongsu-dong, and I had visited once before. I loved it then, so this was a return visit 🐶

It is close to Exit 5 of Seoul Forest Station. It is tucked into an alley, but easy to find.

Even the exotic-looking exterior immediately catches your eye!

The indoor interior is so stylish too, with a European resort concept, right? It reminded me exactly of the feeling in Sorrento, Positano, and Amalfi in southern Italy. Since we were with cute Ppup-pupu, we settled at an outdoor terrace table, haha.

The weather has been so lovely lately, and with the gentle breeze, the open-air café atmosphere is incredible 🌿 It is absolutely perfect for a Seongsu-dong date too.

Reservations and QR ordering

Billadeubeulleu Seongsu is very popular, so there may be a wait. Booking in advance through Naver or Catchtable makes the visit much more comfortable! I made a reservation before coming too.

Squid-ink abalone risotto and truffle cream gnocchi

Wow~ 🌊 The menu is full of Mediterranean Italian dishes. There were such satisfying choices of pasta, risotto, and gnocchi that deciding what to pick was a happy dilemma! It is the kind of lineup you expect from a trusted Seoul Forest pasta spot.

Finally, our squid-ink abalone risotto and gnocchi arrived! The presentation alone made me gasp—wow 🤩

The abalone squid-ink risotto has unbelievable flavor. It is tangy and richly creamy, and the abalone has such a tender texture.

The combination of tender abalone and rich cream was just incredible ✨

We also tried the Gorgonzola truffle cream gnocchi.

The savory sauce and rich truffle aroma fill your mouth, haha.

The gnocchi is delightfully chewy too, so I just could not put down my spoon! 🥹

A delicious meal would feel incomplete without Zero Coke. Pouring it into a cup of ice made it so refreshing, cutting right through the richness—it was the perfect pairing 🥤

The food was excellent overall, and the portions were just right. More than anything, I was so happy that this pet-friendly restaurant where I could sit with Ppup-pupu was such an atmospheric space 💕 Billadeubeulleu Seongsu is the best, with both good value and a great atmosphere!
