What was it like to stop by before lunch near Seoul National University?

We had some time before lunch near Seoul National University, so we walked along Sha-ro-su-gil and went into Pulse Line Coffee (펄스라인커피). I hardly knew any cafés in this area, but its distinctive exterior caught my eye. I hesitated briefly over whether it would be okay to go in with our baby, then decided to visit.

At the time of our visit, our family of three were the only people in the shop, so we settled in comfortably. We parked at Moraenae Park Public Parking Lot and walked over; when leaving, we briefly stopped the car in front of the shop to take care of the baby. I did not confirm whether the space in front of the shop can be used as official parking.

How were the Einspänner and crème brûlée pie?

That day, we ordered an iced Americano, an Einspänner (coffee topped with cream), and a handmade crème brûlée pie. The Einspänner had a generous layer of caramel sauce on top. The cream itself was not overly sweet and had a clean taste, which I liked.

We came after finishing our baby's 100-day photo shoot that morning, so I was craving something sweet. I chose the crème brûlée pie without high expectations, but its texture and flavor were better than I expected. It was crisp on the outside and soft inside, with the characteristic sweetness of brûlée, making it good with coffee.

Was the Americano worth having too?

I usually drink an Americano every day, and here I could really notice the coffee aroma. As I drank it, I became curious about what beans they used. Of everything we had that day, the crème brûlée pie and Americano were especially memorable.

I wanted to try other desserts too, but we had to go to lunch, so I did not order more. Next time, I would like to leave more time to try other desserts as well.

What was it like staying with a baby?

Our baby woke up and cried a little midway through, but the owner was kind, which put me at ease. We were the only ones there at the time, but I remember being able to stay comfortably with our baby.
