I went in person to 007 Optical, located in Namdaemun Market. It's really easy to find since it's close to Hoehyeon Station Exit 5. From the entrance alone you can feel its long tradition and expertise. This shop is famous as a longtime regular haunt of actress Seonwoo Yong-nyeo. On one side of the store there are friendly photos proving celebrity regulars come here. I think there's a good reason a famous person keeps coming back for so long haha. The honest pricing and skill here really build trust.

Shop atmosphere and frame variety

Walking inside, a colorful array of glasses greets you. Thanks to the neatly organized display cases, it's very easy to browse. Under bright lighting, it's a comfortable place to compare all sorts of products. It's a shop with a long history in the Namdaemun eyewear alley. You can start a pleasant consultation with the friendly owner right away. Once you're there, you just pick out the glasses you want.

There's an enormous range, from imported brands to practical domestic frames. With so many options, you can consult in detail with the owner to find exactly what you want. The owner is very kind and knows the eyewear market inside and out, so the consultation moves along smoothly and quickly.

Besides frames, there are also tons of sunglasses. Options range from sunglasses meant for real UV protection to fashion-item sunglasses. I don't think I've ever seen a shop with this many sunglasses before... There's such a wide variety that you can make a reasonable choice considering your style, eyesight, and price range all at once!!

The owner helps with the eye exam very carefully and kindly. This is a shop specializing in German Zeiss lenses, equipped with precision measuring equipment.
