Seonyudo family dinner burger restaurant with 3 side swaps: BAS Burger
In short
BAS Burger Seonyudo is a handmade burger restaurant right in front of Exit 4 of Seonyudo Station on Line 9 in Yeongdeungpo, Seoul. Over dinner for three, the writer, her husband and their son ordered two BAS Burger sets and one chicken burger set, swapping the sides to french fries, onion rings and coleslaw, and asking for grilled onion with the tomato left out. With free potato chips from the self-bar, BAS Burger Seonyudo suited both a family dinner in the dining room and takeout for a Han River picnic.

It's turned into a lovely breezy autumn, hasn't it? With weather this good, a lot of you are probably planning outings with family, partners, or friends. Not long ago, over a weekend, my family — my husband, our beloved son, and I — headed out to a Seonyudo Station favorite, BAS Burger, for some good hand-crafted burgers.
My husband and I had visited together before and loved everything about it, from the vibe to the burgers themselves to the special self-bar service, so this time we brought our son along for dinner too.

Where is BAS Burger Seonyudo, and what are its hours and parking?
BAS Burger Seonyudo sits right in front of Exit 4 of Seonyudo Station on Line 9, so it's super easy to get to. It's open daily from 08:00 to 21:30, and since there's no dedicated parking lot, I'd recommend the nearby Yangpyeong 2-dong public parking lot.
It's a great spot to reach by public transit, and the location is perfect for a leisurely walk to Seonyudo Park or the Han River park afterward. Eating in the restaurant is lovely on a nice day, but honestly there's nothing better than packing up your burgers and sides neatly and enjoying them as picnic food on the grass at the Han River or Seonyudo Park!

What is the dining room at BAS Burger Seonyudo like?
Stepping inside BAS Burger Seonyudo, the red brick interior mixed with flashy neon signs gives it a really hip feel. It has that retro American burger joint energy, almost like a pub.

At lunch it's become a favorite spot for office workers, and in the evening it's a great place for a beer with friends. There are also seats set up for solo dining, so I'd recommend it as a solo-dining spot near Seonyudo Station too!

Here's the origin labeling posted on one side of the restaurant! You can also check food allergy information there.

How do you order? Table ordering at BAS Burger Seonyudo
At BAS Burger, the Seonyudo Station hand-crafted burger favorite, you can check the menu and prices and pay right from your seat via table order. No need to awkwardly worry about the people behind you — really convenient. Split payment is available, and you can pay with Seoul Pay or Kakao Pay too.

Free potato chip self-bar: 'James Gam'
One of BAS Burger's biggest draws is the self-bar for dine-in guests. Free handmade potato chips, nicknamed "James's Chips"! It's piled high with warm chips, and you can help yourself to as much as you like.

Crunchy and salty, they're perfect as a nibble while you wait for your burger to arrive. And they're a great beer snack too!!! The crisp texture was such a hit that our son kept popping them in his mouth and giving a big thumbs up.

The three sets we ordered and the ingredient swaps
Here's what our family ordered.
- Chicken burger set + coleslaw swap
- BAS Burger set + french fries
- BAS Burger set + onion ring swap
One of the great things about BAS Burger Seonyudo is that you can swap or add ingredients and sauces to suit your taste. My husband and son both ordered with grilled onion instead of raw onion, and skipped the tomato. And we swapped the sides too!

We ordered the signature BAS Burger and the chicken burger, and swapped the sides around too — fries, onion rings, and coleslaw, filling out the meal nicely. Just seeing the tray come out piled high made us smile.

The signature BAS Burger
The restaurant's namesake signature burger, the BAS Burger, shows off classic hand-crafted burger done right. Between soft, pillowy buns sits a juicy beef patty packed with fresh lettuce, tomato, cheese, and grilled onion.
With every bite, the savory richness of the patty, the crunch of daily-fresh vegetables, and the special sauce come together perfectly. Both my husband and son raved about it.

The chicken burger
The chicken burger grabs your attention first with its thick, crisply fried chicken patty. The outside stays crunchy while the inside is juicy, giving it a really satisfying bite.

It's lighter than you'd expect, not greasy at all, and the savory-salty seasoning really comes through — anyone who likes a lighter chicken burger would fall for this one.

Coleslaw, onion rings and french fries compared
The coleslaw resets your palate with a crisp, sweet-and-tangy bite after all the fried food and burger richness. The corn and crunchy vegetables paired really well with the hand-crafted burgers.

Crispy outside with a sweet, soft onion aroma filling every bite — the onion rings were a real treat among treats! And the freshly fried, hot, crunchy french fries were a perfect match for the burgers too.

Why BAS Burger Seonyudo works for a family dinner
BAS Burger Seonyudo is right in front of Seonyudo Station, so it's super accessible, and between the carefully made hand-crafted burgers and the unlimited chip service you get with dine-in, it checked every box for a satisfying dinner. Both my husband and son enjoyed it so much that we've already decided to stop by again for takeout on our next Han River outing.
If you're looking for a proper hand-crafted burger spot near Dangsan or Seonyudo Station, or planning a date or picnic at Seonyudo Park or the Han River, I highly recommend giving BAS Burger Seonyudo a visit.
