The weather has suddenly gotten so pleasantly cool lately 🩵 And what does cool weather mean?! A terrace, of course!! ✨ I honestly don't think there is a greater happiness than eating something delicious on a terrace on a beautiful day—so I went to a Cheongdam terrace restaurant where you can properly enjoy the food, atmosphere, and service in exactly this weather 🎀

Outside and inside People the Terrace

You can feel the aura from outside the restaurant itself—People the Terrace is a very, very famous restaurant around Apgujeong Rodeo.

It is known for its spacious terrace, upscale indoor space, and distinctive, beautiful decor 〰️✨ The entrance is so grand—lots of people were taking pictures in front of it. It has that photo-spot feel ✨

I sat on the terrace. The weather has been so lovely lately, making it perfect for terrace seating! In weather like this, I only seek out great restaurants, cafés, and bars with terraces 🤍

Even the terrace tables thoughtfully had insect repellent! The interior is so beautiful too ✨ As you would expect from a Cheongdam restaurant, it features glamorous yet sophisticated decor.

The fountain in the middle felt like the main feature, especially. The European-style decor was beautiful and clean throughout, and it made me think, I absolutely have to come back here—🎀🎀

There are all kinds of seating areas—terrace, sofa, table, and bar seating—so groups, gatherings, and couples can all find a spot without any issue!

Even the restroom inside was spotless ✨ There is a hair dryer and curling iron too, making it a great space for women to check their look!

Even the water bottle at People the Terrace was pretty, haha. My companion said they wanted to take this bottle home 🤦🏻♀️

The sweet shrimp bottarga pasta arrived. I am obsessed with sweet shrimp, so this was a dish I absolutely, absolutely wanted to try. A squeeze of the lemon served alongside it dialed up the tangy, savory flavor with a fresh citrus aroma ➰

The sauce had a rich, savory butter base. Scooping up the sweet shrimp, pasta, and sauce together gave me the deep aroma and saltiness that make shrimp pasta so special. It is exactly the kind of pasta I truly love •• 👏🤍

Brisket kimchi fried rice and duck breast steak

Next, the brisket kimchi fried rice came out. You know kimchi fried rice can never be bad for a Korean palate, right?!

It came topped with an egg and sausage too.

The fried rice was full of aged kimchi, brisket, and ham. With the soft-cooked egg on top, it had a fried-rice flavor brimming with brisket richness—

The final dish was the duck breast steak.

It came with mashed potatoes, grilled vegetables, salt, and orange.

It sliced smoothly with a knife, and the duck was absolutely bursting with juices 🤤👏👏 It was also the perfect match for the mashed potatoes.

The grilled vegetables are especially the real kick in this dish. Their texture was still so lively and they were full of vegetable juices—I wanted to add extra vegetables and eat them again! When a place handles ingredients so well and cooks deliciously, every single garnish tastes good too—People the Terrace, a great Apgujeong Rodeo restaurant, was a huge, huge, huge success 💗🥂
