Hair stroke brow tattoo peeling at 10 days in Bucheon: From Nana
In short
Bucheon Sang-dong From Nana Lip & Eyebrow Tattoo is an eyebrow and lip tattoo studio a 2-minute walk from Exit 3 of Sang-dong Station in Bucheon, Gyeonggi. For a first eyebrow tattoo, the writer chose the hair stroke technique to fill sparse, patchy brows with natural texture; the session took 1.5 to 2 hours, and numbing cream kept the sting almost unnoticeable. Ten days later some patches had flaked off but the pigment stayed natural, and with the touch-up a month on, From Nana looks set to cut real time off the morning routine.

Hello everyone, time for another honest review!
My eyebrows are naturally sparse and uneven, so drawing them in and shaping them every time I left the house always took forever. I could never quite figure out a shape that suited my face, so I finally decided: let's just get an eyebrow tattoo!!
This was actually my first eyebrow tattoo, so I was pretty worried about ending up with something too dark or unnatural, like Shin-chan brows. While looking for a place that could keep things natural and textured, I found this one!! Today's review is Bucheon Sang-dong From Nana. Let's go~~

Where is From Nana? 2 minutes from Sang-dong Station Exit 3
From Nana is about a 2-minute walk from Exit 3 of Sang-dong Station on Line 7, so it's very easy to reach by public transit! If you drive, 1 hour of free parking is available in the building.

It's open every day until 10 pm, so it seems like an easy option to drop by after work!
Inside From Nana and the pre-tattoo consultation
The interior is clean, done up in a calming white tone. Before the procedure, the director checked my bare eyebrows and we had a detailed consultation about what style to go for!

Before: sparse, patchy eyebrows
A bit embarrassing, but here are my eyebrows. Low volume and patchy gaps meant drawing them in every morning always ate up a lot of time — a real headache. The director carefully checked my skin type, brow direction, and face shape.

She explained that with a brow shape drawn on quickly with an eyebrow pencil like in the photo, given that my midface is long and my forehead has some width, it can actually end up drawing more attention to the face — a downside. To improve my overall look and complement my face shape, a shape with a bit of thickness and a downward-sloping tail works better!!

Above all, the studio was spotless, which built even more trust! Trustworthy enough that I made the long trip all the way from Anyang to Bucheon...
Four eyebrow tattoo techniques, and what makes hair stroke different
At From Nana, they gave a simple explanation of eyebrow tattoo techniques. There are four: hair stroke, combo brows, suji (shadow) brows, and embo brows.

- Embo technique (natural brows): a technique where lines are drawn on the skin with a blade like strokes, characterized by visible gaps between lines.
- Suji technique (shadow brows): dots are placed one by one to fill in an area, giving a look similar to shadow makeup.
- Combo technique: combines embo and suji to express both lines and shading at once.
- Hair stroke technique: the one I actually got done this time! A recently popularized cutting-edge technique said to be about 10 times more delicate than traditional embo. Few studios nationwide handle this technique properly — it's quite rare. A single needle makes tiny connected dots to form lines, so there's said to be almost no skin damage. Thickness is fully adjustable, and it creates feather-like texture that looks just like real brow hair growing in.
How long does the hair stroke tattoo take, and does it hurt?
Hair stroke is a high-difficulty process that weaves lines together stitch by stitch, so it takes 1.5 to 2 hours. Regular embo or suji procedures take about 1 hour, apparently. Once the consultation wrapped up, I went into the treatment room and lay down. Ready to go...

Before the procedure, numbing cream was applied and I waited for it to fully take effect. After wiping off the numbing cream, the first symmetry pass began to set the brow outline. She carefully checked the balance between both brows and the overall face symmetry while shaping the line!! Thanks to the numbing cream, there was almost no pain or irritation during the procedure, so I could relax through the whole thing haha.
After: brows with real texture, not solid blocks
Here's the finished result right after the procedure!! Since it was my first eyebrow tattoo, I worried it might end up too dark and Shin-chan-like, but even right after the procedure, each strand of texture looked alive, just like my real brows.

There's zero artificial, blade-drawn feeling — each strand is drawn so finely it doesn't look done at all, just natural?!

Thanks to the director's precise work matching my face shape and the direction of my brow hairs, my brows now look fuller yet still leave a clean impression haha.

She also gave me aftercare instructions along with an eyebrow razor, yakgwa (traditional sweet), cotton swabs, recovery cream, and cleansing tissues!! I could really feel the director's thoughtful care.
How the eyebrow tattoo peeled 10 days later
This is exactly how it looks about 10 days later! There's some patchy peeling here and there, but the pigment has settled in naturally. Since I have oily skin, the peeling may have come a bit faster than usual, but getting a touch-up a month later should let me go a long time comfortably! A truly satisfying day overall!
What stood out about From Nana
- No Shin-chan-brow darkness or awkwardness — looked like my own brows from right after the procedure
- One of the few studios nationwide offering the cutting-edge hair stroke technique that minimizes skin irritation and damage
- The director is very kind and provides 1:1 custom design matched to face shape and brow direction
- Numbing cream meant a comfortable, pain-free procedure!!
- Saves time drawing brows, dramatically cutting down busy morning routine time
I had a lot of worries going into my first eyebrow tattoo, but afterward, all the time I used to waste every morning drawing brows and matching them up symmetrically has been drastically cut. Even heading out without much effort, I keep a clean look, and life is so much easier now haha. Why didn't I get this done sooner~~~!!!!!
