It's a 5-minute walk from Exit 2 of Gangnam-gu Office Station! Being close to the station was such a plus~

This isn't the entrance, by the way! You have to go around the back of the building and take the elevator up to the 2nd floor!

I loved how spacious and pleasant the shop was. It was clean and quiet, the kind of atmosphere where you can fully focus on your hair treatment 🖤🖤

Turns out Anew Hair Cheongdam Main Branch is also known for its hair consulting in Gangnam! As soon as I arrived, they showed me to a consulting room.

They have you fill out consultation notes on a tablet~ Since I came in specifically for wedding dye, I focused my notes on the coloring! Looking at Anew Hair reviews, they're apparently well known as a Gangnam hair salon that's great at dye jobs! Something for everyone to keep in mind 👀

If I'd come in a bit earlier, I could've gone with a color that neutralizes more red tones, but since my shoot was literally the next day ^^.. this time we went with a color that would show up right away!

For reference, I got my color done by Manager Soyoon haha. She specializes in personal brown / wedding dye, so if you're thinking about coloring for your shoot or your actual wedding day, go ahead and book with her 🤸‍♂️

H ㅏ ah,,,,,,,, what a rough before photo. What even happened to my hair lol lol lol lol. I dyed it back in December and never touched it up, so it split into color separation, got messy, total chaos ^^

Anyway, let's get this glow-up going. Look forward to the after photo.

She said the main focus was matching my two-tone, mismatched hair back into one single tone! For the color, we went with the medium-brightness brown that most brides go with for their shoots ~.~

The dye job took about an hour and a half total! She kept checking in carefully throughout to see if I was uncomfortable, so I could relax and just get it done comfortably 🤍

How did the color turn out, and was the hair okay without a clinic treatment?

The color came out so good, right???!!!!?!! My two-tone was so bad I was really worried, but she cleaned it up more neatly than I expected and I genuinely loved it. I didn't get a separate clinic treatment, but my hair wasn't nearly as damaged as I expected! I absolutely hate damaged hair, so this really matters to me — and it passed the test, passed with flying colors ~.~
