Daejeon lash lift studio, first U-curl pudding perm: Banana Brow

This was my very first lash lift! 👁️ I got it done at Banana Brow in Gwaejeong-dong, Seo-gu, Daejeon, and I loved it so much I finally understand why everyone does lash lifts ☺️🙌🏻 It's close to my friend's place too, so I recommended it to her! 👁️🪮

What Banana Brow's studio and waiting area are like

Banana Brow is on the 1st floor of Gwaejeong-ro 98beon-gil, and as soon as you walk in there's a sofa set up for waiting 🪑

The Banana Brow sign is so cute. While waiting, you can help yourself to a drink from the fridge 🥤

There's also a mirror, a curling iron, and combs, so if you have plans right after, you can touch up here 🪞🪮

Further inside there are two treatment beds, both spotlessly tidy — it put my mind at ease that this shop cares about hygiene and cleanliness ✨

Peeking around the other side of the treatment beds, I saw a display of the owner's various awards. Seeing all those wins made me feel like I could trust my lashes to her ෆ˙ᵕ˙ෆ

They also sell lash nourishing serums 🧴🪮

Why the 40,000 won pudding perm with a U-curl was the pick

Here's Banana Brow's price list for reference! I got the tangle-glossy-dewy pudding perm for ₩40,000, with a U-curl 😊 During the consultation before the treatment, I told the owner it was my first lash lift and that I wanted a natural look.

This is a great treatment for people who don't wear much makeup! Moms with young kids, people who work full-time — it means you can get away with doing less makeup in the morning 😊🤍 Since I'm raising a kid right now I barely wear makeup these days, and this gives me a bit more confidence to go out bare-faced, hahaha

How to care for lashes after a Korean lash lift

Banana Brow gives you a brush after the treatment, and told me to brush through once a day 🪮🪮🪮

They also gave me aftercare instructions. I'm usually bad at keeping up with this kind of thing, but this time I'll really try to make it last!

Lash lift aftercare instructions

• 1️⃣ Only rinse with water for the first 3 hours
• 2️⃣ Don't rub or press on your eyes
• 3️⃣ No eyelash curlers or lash irons
• 4️⃣ Brush lashes upward at least once a day
• 5️⃣ Apply lash essence twice a day
• 6️⃣ Lift lasts 3 weeks to a month and a half
