I went to Seolleung Station over the weekend and suddenly craved something sweet, so I went out for gelato. These days, when it's neither too hot nor too cold and you just want a light ice cream fix, nothing beats gelato. This time I visited Scoopy, a place I found while searching for Gangnam gelato desserts. It's within walking distance of Seolleung Station, so it was a nice stop for dessert after a meal too.

Where is Scoopy, and what are its hours?
Scoopy is located at 20 Seolleung-ro 72-gil, 1F #103, Gangnam-gu, Seoul, South Korea, and it's open Tuesday to Sunday from 12:00 to 22:20. I visited on a weekend and saw customers coming in for gelato — there were seats not just inside but also outside, so it seemed like a great spot to sit outdoors on a nice day. The vibe felt easygoing enough to just pop in for gelato without any pressure.
Scoopy's gelato menu and the flavor lineup that day

At Scoopy, you can choose gelato in a variety of flavors. On my visit, there was everything from classic flavors to fruit, tea, and nut-based options, so I spent a while deciding which to pick. They always post that day's lineup on Naver News, so it's worth checking before you go.
The flavors on offer on the day of the visit
- 🍫 Classic: Mexican vanilla, chocolate
- 🍭 Sweet: Lotus
- 🍓 Fresh fruit: apple mango, peach yogurt, strawberry banana, dried persimmon (new)
- 🍵 Tea leaves: brown Earl Grey
- 🐮 Local: Namhae mugwort, nutty black sesame
- 🥜 Nuts: Sicilian pistachio

How much is the Triple Scoopy? 240g for 9,500 won
What I ordered was the Triple Scoopy. The Triple Scoopy lets you choose 3 flavors and comes in at 240g for ₩9,500. There's also Single Scoopy for ₩5,000 and Double Scoopy for ₩7,500, so you can pick based on your preference or group size, plus takeout options like One Scoopy, Couple Scoopy, and Party Scoopy for sharing with more people. Takeout, delivery, and reservations are all available, so it seemed like a good option even if you want to eat at home.

There's also an Oat Crunch Cup for ₩4,500 that can work as a simple meal. It's made with domestic grade-1 milk, Scoopy's handmade ice cream, granola, and multigrain flakes. Best of all, you get to choose the ice cream flavor for it, which is a nice touch.

The three gelato flavors chosen at Scoopy

This time I picked Mexican vanilla, peach yogurt, and Lotus. On top of that, I also got to taste a nutty black sesame as a free sample bite. Since you can enjoy three flavors at once, the Triple Scoopy suited me well — I always find it hard to settle on just one.
Black sesame gelato, served as a one-bite taste

When ordering, you can also choose a sample bite with your gelato, so I picked black sesame. Black sesame has a pretty noticeable nutty flavor, giving a different feel from the sweeter gelatos. If I visit again, I'd like to pick one of these nutty-style flavors as a full scoop.
Mexican vanilla gelato

First, I chose Mexican vanilla since it's a basic, easy-to-eat flavor. It's a soft, sweet vanilla style that paired well with the other flavors. The gelato itself wasn't too heavy, making it a good choice to start with. Most of all, it wasn't an artificially strong sweetness but a nutty, sweet balance that was easy to enjoy without hesitation. The vanilla beans dotted throughout made it feel like they used the real thing generously.
Peach yogurt gelato

I picked peach yogurt for a fresher feel than the vanilla. The sweetness of the peach combined with the tanginess of the yogurt made it feel a bit lighter than the other two. On days when you're craving gelato like these, adding a fruit-based flavor like this seems to keep you from getting tired of eating multiple scoops.
Lotus gelato

I also picked Lotus, one of my favorites. It has a distinct sweet dessert feel, and paired with the Mexican vanilla, it made for a nutty-sweet combo. Switching between the three flavors, I could really tell the differences, and I felt good about choosing the Triple Scoopy. There are also cookie pieces inside, which add nice texture.
Outdoor seats at Scoopy on a weekend afternoon

Since I visited on a weekend, I got to enjoy the gelato at a relaxed pace. Scoopy has both indoor and outdoor seating, making it a great Gangnam gelato dessert spot to sit and enjoy. On a day with nice weather, it would be great to grab a gelato and sit outside for a bit. Especially these days, when a walk makes you crave something cool, it's the perfect season for ice cream, and it was an easy, light stop near Seolleung Station.
Is Scoopy worth a visit? Final verdict

Scoopy has such a wide variety of gelato flavors that it's more fun to compare several than to just pick one. This time I chose Mexican vanilla, peach yogurt, and Lotus, and the black sesame I tried as a sample was good too, so next time I want to try other flavors. In particular, the Triple Scoopy lets you enjoy three flavors at once, so it seems well suited for people like me who want to try a variety. Scoopy is a great place to swing by near Seolleung Station when you're craving something sweet after a meal or looking for Gangnam gelato desserts. It was also a nice place to take a short break with a gelato on a nice weekend.
