I’d been growing my hair out lately, but suddenly I really wanted a bob, so this time I boldly chopped off the length and got a bob cut plus a volume straightening perm! ✨ The place I visited was Vivienne Hair, Changwon Sangnam branch. It’s at 2F, Room 201, 23 Danjeong-ro, Seongsan-gu, Changwon-si, Gyeongsangnam-do.

Once you park and take the elevator up to the second floor, Vivienne Hair is right there.

For reference, if you visit before 6 p.m., I recommend using the building’s underground parking. After 6 p.m., the nearby Real Parking is also supported, so if the underground lot is full, you can park there instead. 🚗

The salon was more spacious than I expected, and it had such a clean, bright atmosphere overall. Sunlight poured in through the floor-to-ceiling windows, so I could get my hair done comfortably without feeling closed in.

They also had drinks and snacks ready to enjoy along the way, so even during a long appointment I didn’t get bored haha. ☕️

That day, I decided on a bob cut plus a volume straightening perm.

As my hair had grown longer, the ends needed tidying up, and after cutting it into a bob, I wanted it to fall smoothly without puffing up or flipping out. After finishing the bob cut, we moved on to the volume straightening perm in earnest. They applied the solution carefully and tailored the process to my hair condition.

Even though my hair was short because of the bob, they divided it into sections and worked carefully, which made me feel reassured throughout. They checked my hair condition along the way and handled every step attentively.

Before the service, my hair had grown out overall and the ends felt untidy. After the cut and volume straightening perm, the shape itself was neatly set. What I especially wanted was not a pin-straight style that sat completely flat, but a bob with natural volume that fell smoothly—and it came out exactly how I wanted. I was so pleased. 🤍

It had that neat, classic bob feel, but it didn’t sit too flat against my head, so it looked much more natural. The ends were tidied up too, so I think it will be easy to style neatly without much extra effort.

Bobs can be such a hassle to style every morning, but with the volume straightening perm, I was so satisfied that simply blow-drying made it look as polished as if I’d used a flat iron. ^^

Hair texture and finishing touches after the service

You can worry about hair texture after a perm, but afterward my hair felt soft and neatly smoothed down overall. More than anything, cutting it into a bob made it feel so much lighter!!

They even sent me home with perm-specific shampoo and conditioner afterward—I was touchedㅠㅠ
