Pork neck steak and risotto for two at a Yangji, Yongin Italian spot

I'd been craving Western food like pasta or wood-fired pizza for a while, so I headed to Ttukbaegi-e Dameun Italia. Since I'd already been once before, this time I decided to try something new on the menu.

Inside at 5pm and the 12-person private room

What we ordered that day was the pork neck steak for ₩23,000 and the tomato chicken cheese risotto for ₩20,000. The interior of Ttukbaegi-e Dameun Italia is clean and fairly spacious. We visited around 5pm, so the place was pretty relaxed.

Besides the regular tables, there's also a room that can seat up to 12 people.

You order using the tablet at each table. Once you order, bread comes out first. It's warm, like it was just baked.

Pork neck steak and tomato chicken cheese risotto: two dishes for two people

There were two of us, so we ordered the pork neck steak and the tomato chicken cheese risotto. With two people, two dishes should be plenty, right?

The pork neck steak comes as three good-sized chunks. The thick-cut pork neck looked really appetizing. Even though it's pork, the texture was tender and delicious. If you're visiting as a pair, pairing the steak with a risotto or pasta to share sounds like a good idea.

And then the tomato chicken cheese risotto! I personally love risotto, so I picked this the moment I saw it on the menu. There's chicken mixed in throughout, which makes it much more filling than just plain rice.

And above all, the portion is quite generous. It felt like more than two bowls' worth of rice. The tangy flavor of tomato and the savory richness of cheese came through together, making it an easy, satisfying risotto to eat.

A bite of pork neck steak, then a spoonful of risotto. Alternating like this made for a good combination. Since we didn't order two heavy, greasy dishes, we got to enjoy both the savory clean taste of the pork and the tangy, slightly spicy flavor of the tomato risotto together, which I liked.

Ttukbaegi-e Dameun Italia has a wide range of dishes, from wood-fired pizza and pasta to risotto and steak, so it seems like a good place for a group where everyone can order what they're craving.

The restaurant is spacious and has a room for up to 12 people, so it also looks good for family gatherings or group meetups. If you're in the Yangji area craving Western food like pasta or risotto and looking for somewhere with easy parking, this place is worth a visit.
