Yongin Chinese restaurant with weekend parking: Doseogwan Dwitjip
In short
Doseogwan Dwitjip is a Chinese restaurant on Guseong 2-ro in Giheung-gu, Yongin, Gyeonggi, where the noodles are made in house. A couple visited for weekend lunch and ordered the signature Best Combo Hot Plate Set for 2 to 3 people, which stood out for its thin hand-mixed noodles, the natural sweetness of chunjang (black bean paste) and stir-fried onions, and a deep smoky wok aroma. With 2 to 3 dedicated parking spaces plus roadside parking nearby, Doseogwan Dwitjip is an easy Chinese restaurant to reach by car.

Today I want to introduce a place that completely won me over with its deep smoky wok flavor and healthy umami! I really love Chinese food, but I've always hesitated because of how heavy or bloated it usually makes me feel afterward. This visit was so clean and delicious that I just had to share it with you — here's my review of Doseogwan Dwitjip!
Where do you park at Doseogwan Dwitjip on Guseong 2-ro, Yongin?
Doseogwan Dwitjip has about 2-3 dedicated parking spots, and even if those are full, you can park on the nearby roadside. Best of all, there's no parking enforcement during lunchtime, so you can eat with total peace of mind.
My husband and I went for a weekend drive and stopped by this Yongin Chinese restaurant for a delicious lunch. Parking is always the biggest worry when you drive somewhere, right? Since we visited on the weekend, we parked comfortably on the roadside without any worry about enforcement.

Inside Doseogwan Dwitjip: the dining room and the self-service bar
The service was fully satisfying too. From the moment we walked into Doseogwan Dwitjip to the moment we left, the owner and staff greeted us with bright smiles the whole way through, which made the whole visit feel really good. The friendliness here is top-notch — it's the kind of place that makes you smile without even trying.

House-made noodles with no enhancers: thin, soft and light
The biggest thing that sets Doseogwan Dwitjip apart is the care that goes into its house-made dough. The moment I walked in, a savory, spicy smoky aroma hit me right away. Most Chinese restaurants use noodle enhancers to keep the noodles from going soggy too fast, but this Yongin restaurant uses zero artificial additives — just carefully hand-kneaded noodles.

When the noodles arrived, they were clearly thinner and softer than what you'd find at a typical Chinese restaurant. Because the noodles are so thin, the sauce soaks in deeply between every strand, so every bite was packed with flavor. I usually feel bloated or uncomfortable all day after eating Chinese food, but maybe thanks to the healthy, additive-free dough, my stomach felt genuinely light and clean afterward.

Best Combo Hot Plate Set for 2-3 people: is it enough for two?
My husband and I ordered Doseogwan Dwitjip's signature dish, the 'Best Combo Hot Plate Set' (for 2-3 people), and our jaws dropped the second it arrived. True to its billing as a set for 2-3 people, the portion was absolutely massive — even the two of us, who both eat a lot, were more than full.

Deep smoky wok flavor rather than an artificial one
To get into more detail about the taste, I'd honestly give it 200 out of 100. These days, a lot of Chinese restaurants pile on strong artificial seasoning or sugar for an aggressive sweetness. But true to being one of the best Chinese restaurants in Yongin, Doseogwan Dwitjip doesn't force the flavor with artificial seasoning or sugar.
Instead, the deep, rich flavor of the chunjang (black bean paste) itself blends with the natural sweetness of sweetly stir-fried onions to create a deep umami. The spicy, intense smoky wok flavor fills your mouth alongside the onions' natural sweetness, and it's addictive in a way that never gets old no matter how much you eat. This is a Yongin Chinese restaurant that truly shows what real smoky-wok Chinese food is all about.

Is Doseogwan Dwitjip good for a family meal with kids?
Doseogwan Dwitjip has cute, neatly kept baby chairs ready for families dining with children, and the restrooms were spotlessly clean, so the whole visit felt pleasant from start to finish. Every small detail shows real thoughtfulness toward guests, making this a Yongin Chinese restaurant that's just as good for a family meal.

Great taste, healthy ingredients, generous portions, and heartwarming friendliness — Doseogwan Dwitjip has it all as a Yongin Chinese restaurant! If you're tired of overly aggressive Chinese food or want to try real smoky-wok Chinese food that's gentle on your stomach, I recommend this place without hesitation. Come with family, a partner, or your kids and enjoy a hearty, happy meal ♥ I think I'll be craving that smoky hot plate set again soon and heading back to this Yongin favorite!
