Pizza for a hangover? Why we walked in mid-date near Hongdae
We were on a date near Hongdae, and after overdoing it with drinks the night before 😢, I wanted pizza as my hangover cure — I'm the greasy-food-for-hangovers type, haha.
The reviews were amazing and it's apparently famous for delivery too, but the store itself was super clean and had way more seating than I expected! 💟

The menu and picking a pizza size
Here's the menu! Every pizza comes in P, R, and L sizes — P is good for 1 person, R for 2, and L for 3–4. There were two of us, so we ordered a half-and-half R-size pizza and a classic oven pasta, haha.

Unlimited self-serve garlic dipping sauce and pickles
Plastic gloves and all the sauces (hot sauce, parmesan cheese, garlic dipping sauce, pepper, etc.) are self-serve here!! Most places charge ₩500–1,000 for hot sauce or garlic dipping sauce these days, so this felt amazing 🫢✨

Ugh, I can't resist garlic dipping sauce — and it's unlimited?! 💛🥺

You scoop the pickles yourself too, so my pickle-loving boyfriend piled his plate high, haha 😁😁

Classic oven pasta, ₩8,900 — the size alone surprised me
– Classic Oven Pasta (₩8,900) Wow... can you see the size of this pasta? Is this really a side dish? Is this really ₩8,900?? 🥹🥹

It looked so good I couldn't decide whether to wait for the pizza or dig in — and the pizza came out right away anyway, haha.

Half-and-half pizza (R): Hawaiian + spicy pepperoni
– Half-and-half Pizza (R), ₩24,900 (Hawaiian + spicy pepperoni)

We love Hawaiian pizza, so half-and-half usually means half Hawaiian, half something spicy for us. This place had a unique spicy pepperoni option, so we tried it — and the visual alone was something I'd never seen before! 🤩🫢💛

Look at all those crushed jalapeños piled on top — how did they know I love jalapeños this much, ugh 😭

How does the oven pasta taste? Zero pre-made vibes
I dug into the oven pasta first before it got cold!

Ugh, do I even need to say it — it was delicious 🤤🤤. We're big pizza people so we go to pizza places a lot, and we always order oven pasta as a side, but this one was genuinely one of the best I've had 👍

I've had plenty of oven pastas that taste like they came from a pre-made packet... this one never gave off that vibe at all! 😍 The tomato sauce was sweet and tangy without being greasy, so it was so, so good 🧡🧡

Crust to crust ends: basically a bread bakery in disguise
The pizza itself was... well, need I say more, it was genuinely delicious 🥺🥹🥹. While eating, I found out mid-bite that this place has a Blue Ribbon Survey mention?! No wonder — the dough was great and the cheese was piled on so generously that it was incredibly good ❤️❤️ I wanted something cheesy for my hangover and this hit exactly the spot 🫶🫶

And dipping the leftover crust ends in the garlic sauce — how good is that supposed to be?? Seriously, because the dough itself is so good, even the crust ends are plain, chewy, and delicious!!! 💖 Basically a bakery in pizza form... beats wood-fired pizza hands down 🥹

Me, pausing mid-bite because it was too good, taking a happy photo... haha.

Final verdict
Truly, genuinely!!! We ate so well that we're already planning our next visit for sure!! (And while we were eating, the delivery orders were flooding in non-stop... this must already be a well-known local pizza spot for people living near Hongik University Station 😊)
If you're looking for a pizza restaurant near Hongik University Station or Yeonnam-dong, I highly recommend Sunny's Pizza Market!! 🤩🤩👍
