Le Bon Goûter, a favorite Apgujeong date spot, is an easy walk from Rodeo — about 5 minutes. It's tucked in a quiet alley, but the place was packed with customers. Open from 9am, it draws all kinds of guests, from brunch regulars to people stopping by after lunch for coffee.

From the entrance, it had this cozy feel, like stepping into a watercolor painting. Even at a window seat you can see the green terrace, so it'd be comfortable to sit and enjoy brunch alone too.

We started digging into our delicious brunch on the terrace. With a cool breeze blowing and a cold vanilla latte in hand, we tasted the sweet desserts and galettes.

What does a buckwheat galette taste like?
The galette made with buckwheat flour was crispy in some parts and soft in others, thin like paper — the texture was fascinating. You even hear a crisp sound when you cut it with a knife🥰 Both dishes arrived topped with little flowers, so pretty~ 🌺

Banana brûlée galette, 17,000 won
The banana brûlée galette, dipped in whipped cream — I loved the thin, crispy parts.

Salmon galette, 23,000 won
It looks like carrot, but it's actually smoked salmon. With a simple salad and the galette, this was a nice salad brunch option for anyone on a diet too.

The fragrant iced vanilla latte, not too sweet, made the simple brunch even more enjoyable. Why does everything taste better on a terrace? It was such a fun time catching up with my sister after so long!
