Ddareungi bike ride to a quiet Seongsu café window seat: T Coffee

Today I'm introducing T Coffee (티 커피), a café in Seongsu that's great for studying or working! It looked good for reading too, not just studying.

The place is clean and quiet, so it was also good for chatting. Since it's in the basement, it kind of felt like a spot only insiders know about, haha.

It's easy to get to since it's between Seongsu Station and Konkuk University Station. I'll review it in detail with photos below!

Where T Coffee is and when it opens

Once you see this, you've basically arrived! T Coffee is on the basement level, but since it's got glass walls, it doesn't really feel underground at all, haha.

It's about a 7-minute walk from Exit 2 of Seongsu Station (Line 2), or about 12 minutes from Exit 1 of Konkuk University Station. My boyfriend and I rode Ddareungi bikes there, and there was a bike station right in front too 👀

Here are the hours. Last order is 7pm! Weekday and weekend opening times differ, so keep that in mind.

The restroom is in the pizza place across the way

Funny thing — right across is a pizza place, haha. The restroom is on the pizza place's side, so I popped over, and the pizza looked delicious too 🤤 I'll have to try it next time. Anyway, the restroom was clean too.

Why T Coffee's basement doesn't feel like one

One side of T Coffee is a full window, so it didn't feel like a basement at all. The view is nice too, haha. It'd be perfect to sit here reading a book with coffee — I should've brought one that day... The warmth from the wood and lighting is totally my style.

But the place was really cold, so I kept my windbreaker on the whole time, lol.

We took a seat toward the back. Once it passed 4pm, the crowd thinned out and it got really quiet! Quite a few people were there studying alone too.

What we ordered at T Coffee and what it cost

Here's the menu. The desserts looked delicious too, but we were too full to try any, ㅠㅅㅠ they looked like they'd pair perfectly with coffee, haha. The coffee can be made decaf or with oat milk too.

We ordered! It's the best when your boyfriend pays, best best.

Even the water cup station was so cute 👀❤️ The T Coffee lettering on the tissues was cute too.

How the vanilla chai tea and matcha latte taste

Chai tea is something I drank a lot when I was in Denmark — think of it as a milk tea with cinnamon and spice notes. It seems to be a bit of a love-it-or-hate-it flavor, haha. I love it!

Clean and pretty, haha. The cup isn't huge, just so you know!

The chai tea had cinnamon and spice notes blending nicely with a smooth milk base. My boyfriend said it wasn't his style, lol — all the better, I got to drink it all myself 🤤 The vanilla flavor wasn't super distinct, but you could taste the sweetness.

This is the matcha latte my boyfriend had. It tasted like a good matcha latte, haha. Nice moderate sweetness, which I liked.

Since the place is quiet, it was great for taking a break. Seongsu has a lot of noisy cafés here and there ..^^,,, but this one's saved right away 👀❤️
