Quiet Seongsu coffee shop with a La Marzocco almond latte: T Coffee

I went to T Coffee, a quiet café in Seongsu!! Who knew there was such a quiet café in Seongsu, of all places, with its crowds and endless pop-ups? If you're looking for a quiet Seongsu café, I'd fully recommend this one.

Where is T Coffee? Basement level on Achasan-ro, Seongsu

T Coffee is in the basement at 159 Achasan-ro, Seongdong-gu, Seoul. It's a curious space — even though it's underground, you get a floor-to-ceiling window view with bamboo right outside 🌳

Tables and benches in all kinds of different materials gave the space a fun feel haha. If you're after a quiet Seongsu café, T Coffee's cozy, calm space will hit the spot. Recommended for anyone who wants to relax without worrying about other people's eyes or the noise!

T Coffee menu: coffee, non-coffee and the almond latte

True to its name as a coffee spot, T Coffee in Seongsu had a wide range of coffee drinks along with non-coffee options. What caught my eye was the almond latte ☕ It looked so nutty and delicious that I just went ahead and ordered a regular café latte plus an almond latte haha.

T Coffee had a La Marzocco espresso machine and grinder sitting on the bar, and seeing that explained why the coffee tasted so good. If you're hunting for good coffee in Seoul or a great latte spot in Seongsu, T Coffee's coffee quality will satisfy you haha.

Turns out T Coffee is just as serious about desserts as it is about coffee.. every single one looked ridiculously good. Gaining weight would be a problem so I picked just one.. The pistachio cream choux stole my heart.

The moment I took a sip it brought back memories of a flat white I had on a trip to Sydney.. the balance between soft milk foam and rich espresso was excellent haha.

The foam was so soft and fluffy, it was ridiculously good. T Coffee really is a latte spot.. with lattes this good, I got curious about the americano too. Next time I visit I've got to try the americano!!

The almond latte I drank was so much nuttier than a regular milk latte. If you're tired of your usual milk latte, give the almond latte a try haha. If you're after the best latte spot in Seongsu, come to T Coffee no question. Unconditional recommendation.

The pistachio cream choux, the standout dessert at T Coffee

The pistachio cream choux we ordered for dessert was really delicious. The crispy choux was dusted with powdered sugar and packed full of pistachio cream inside.

The pistachio cream wasn't overly sweet, so it paired really well with the coffee haha. Honestly, I wanted to just scoop out the cream and eat it on its own.

With dessert quality like this.. I'd love to try the owner's homemade doechonkoo cookies..!! I bet they're great at those too.. T Coffee, a real dessert spot 🧁🍰

Would I go back to T Coffee? Final verdict

Personally, T Coffee left me wanting to come back again and again. If you're looking for your own café to feel quiet and cozy in right in the middle of crowded Seongsu, T Coffee is the one. Delicious lattes pulled on a La Marzocco machine, incredible desserts, and a cozy atmosphere — three-for-three perfect. That's my review of T Coffee, done!
