Hands Coffee Dongchon Resort Branch, a Dong-gu brunch favorite, is a genuine view spot if you go while it's still bright out, as you can see. It sits a bit elevated so Dongchon Resort spreads out in full view. It'd probably be gorgeous at sunset too.

Hands Coffee Dongchon Resort Branch is also well known as a Dong-gu brunch spot. There's a wide range of brunch dishes, for your reference — delicious items sold only at this branch! The seats are wide and varied too, so I'd recommend it for a lunch gathering spot.

Inside, the wood interior gives it a weighty, cozy, warm feel. The solid, substantial design gives off real luxury vibes.

There were more tables on the 2nd floor than I expected, and they were spacious — nice! The 1st floor is a different shop; Hands Coffee starts from the 2nd floor.

And! Speaking of Hands Coffee, you have to mention the thick, delicious waffles! There are so many waffle options it took me forever to choose... I wanted the cake too, everything looked so good, ugh.

Seating on the 2nd, 3rd and 4th floors, and the elevator

Check the floor guide — Hands Coffee runs from the 2nd floor all the way up! A really huge Daegu café. There are restrooms on both the 3rd and 4th floors too, which makes it even more convenient to use!

There's also an elevator, so it's great for visiting with parents! Each floor has elevator access and restrooms, so seniors can use the place comfortably too.

This is the 3rd floor space. It's really spacious with the area well divided into different zones and lots of seat variety — my boyfriend and I had fun exploring! There were tons of seats to sit at, haha!

And this here is the 4th floor! It's cozily decorated too, with floor seating, and the view out front looked amazing. Couldn't get a shot of some other seats because people were sitting there.

Choco banana waffle with Haagen-Dazs and a decaf Americano

Ta-da ✨✨ After exploring the spacious interior of Hands Coffee Dongchon Resort Branch, a large brunch café favorite in Daegu, the food arrived. A choco banana waffle, a decaf Americano and peach iced tea, and even a Hands cookie!!!! Since it was evening I had decaf, and it inevitably had a bit of acidity, but not bad!

Right in the middle, a scoop of Haagen-Dazs chocolate ice cream, plop. My boyfriend went 'oh this is good!' and when I said, it's Haagen-Dazs... he just nodded like, ah, makes sense, haha, lol. They also gave a generous amount of whipped cream, the waffle's best friend, and piled on tons of banana. And so much chocolate too! Doesn't seem like the cheap kind — feels like a decent, slightly pricier one 😎 lol. It was genuinely delicious.

The Hands cookie I'd been looking forward to! I love this kind of cookie, and with almond and dark chocolate in it, it was nutty, sweet, and crunchy. Exactly the flavor moms would enjoy with their coffee, haha.

How the thick waffle tastes: crisp outside, soft inside

The choco banana waffle comes out as a thick waffle baked from chocolate batter, and it seemed to have not one but two bananas piled on, haha. Genuinely crisp outside, soft inside, so delicious... Eating through the sweet cream, the cool chocolate-studded Haagen-Dazs ice cream, and the banana together, it was so good... even writing this now I want more 🤤💛

Dipping the banana and the Haagen-Dazs chocolate ice cream together with the soft cream was so good that I inhaled half the waffle in five minutes, haha. It was so tasty I'll definitely have it again next time!!! Whenever I want an amazing dessert, in the evening when the sky turns a pretty sunset color, I'm planning to bring my boyfriend back here again!!! 😎👍🏻✨
