Brewers Coffee Cheonan Sinbu Branch at 2:30pm: what the café feels like

Today I went to Brewers Coffee with my girlfriend. We arrived around 2:30pm, a good time to enjoy coffee and dessert after lunch. Brewers Coffee had a great atmosphere from the outside already. The interior had a vintage feel, with plants placed here and there, and I liked how it all came together. It had that hot-spot café vibe that a lot of people are after these days, but without feeling too busy or overwhelming.

Walking inside, the vintage interior and plants blended together naturally. It was a great space for photos, and comfortable to sit and chat with my girlfriend too. The seating was tidy, and there was separate outdoor seating as well. On a nice day, sitting outside with a coffee sounds great.

The Americano was just a nice, easy-to-drink coffee. The acidity and nuttiness were both middling, not leaning too far either way, which made it easy to pair with the desserts. The coffee itself wasn't too strong or bold, so it went well alongside the financiers and madeleine. If you're the type who prefers an approachable Americano when looking for a Cheonan café, this should suit you.

Butter rice cake financier, ₩3,000: crisp outside, chewy inside

The outside was really crispy and the inside was chewy — the phrase "crispy outside, chewy inside" fit perfectly. You could taste the nutty butter flavor too. It had a chewiness that regular financiers don't usually have, which made it fun to eat. If you like financiers, this one's worth trying.

Almond choco madeleine, ₩3,500: less sweet than expected

I worried it would be too sweet since it had chocolate in it, but it wasn't overly sweet at all. The nutty almond flavor went well with the chocolate, and it paired nicely with coffee. Even people who don't like very sweet desserts should be able to enjoy this without much worry.

Dubai financier, ₩4,000: the one to order if you pick just one

The Dubai financier was really delicious. All the desserts were good, but personally this was my favorite. The texture was great and the flavor stuck with me — if I visit again, this is what I'd order. If I were recommending Brewers Coffee to someone looking for a Cheonan café recommendation, the Dubai financier is a must. Out of everything, this is the one I'd pick if I could only choose one.

Iced tea while you wait outside

I also liked that they offered cold iced tea while we waited outside. Having a cool drink while waiting felt like a thoughtful touch.

This would suit anyone looking for a vintage-style café in Cheonan, or somewhere to relax with dessert. The butter rice cake financier and Dubai financier especially are worth recommending. I went with my girlfriend, and between the atmosphere and the friendly staff, we had a comfortable time. There's outdoor seating too, so it'd be even better on a nice-weather day.

If you're looking for a Sinbu-dong café, Brewers Coffee is worth putting on the list. The coffee was solidly enjoyable, and the desserts were fun to pick through one by one. This is a place I'd want to recommend to anyone looking for a Cheonan café. Next time I visit, I'll probably order the Dubai financier again.
