I want to introduce you to Hands Coffee Dongchon Resort Branch, a large Daegu café with a vibe that's just as good as its desserts! Hands Coffee has a ton of branches, but the Dongchon Resort branch was the most grand one I've been to..! Let's start the review ☺️

What kind of café is Hands Coffee Dongchon Resort Branch?

There are so many cafés around Dongchon Resort, but if you're looking for one with a spacious layout and a good view, this one is worth a visit. Even from outside, you can tell the café is spread across multiple floors — it felt much bigger in scale than I expected.

There's private parking right in front of the store, and the seating is roomy enough to be great for group visits too! Hours are daily 10:00–23:00.

Wow... stepping inside, it's way more spacious than it looked from outside!! I honestly covered my mouth at how grand it was..

What are the window seats and the floor-by-floor seating like?

Personally, when it comes to cafés, the drinks and desserts matter, but I also tend to pay a lot of attention to how comfortable the space is when I'm staying a while.

Sitting by the window seats, you get a wide-open view outside, so there's no stuffy feeling at all — no wonder they're popular :) It felt like the perfect spot to rest for a bit after visiting Dongchon Resort, and also a nice atmosphere for chatting on a date.

With multiple floors, the space felt much more relaxed than a typical single-floor café, and there was fun in picking out just the right seat. That's why I especially want to recommend this place to anyone looking for a large café in Daegu.

Hands Coffee Dongchon Resort Branch runs not just waffles but a brunch menu too, so it looks like a good spot for anyone searching for a brunch restaurant in Dong-gu.

Wow, the menu is genuinely so big my eyes were spinning.. one person caught in a happy dilemma.

With baked goods, breads, cakes, bingsu, waffles and more, there's such a huge selection that whoever you come with, you can find something you want. It really seems like a great spot for family visits or as a meeting place!

How do the granola peanut cream waffle and iced Americano taste?

This time I ordered the granola peanut cream waffle and an iced Americano! Honestly, when you think Hands Coffee, you can't leave out the waffles alongside the coffee. The granola peanut cream waffle had me at the name — it was totally my kind of thing.

With peanut cream and granola piled on top of the waffle, it's a menu item you can't help but be drawn to if you love nutty flavors. Eating the sweet, nutty waffle and taking sips of iced Americano in between was such a good combination. When it comes to dessert, an ice-cold Americano really is the cleanest pairing.

Great dessert, great view — sitting here, three hours just disappeared..
